Scoob! (OC Insert)

Chapter 2

Alexis's POV

"What are those things?" Scoob asked.

"I don't know, but they don't look friendly," The guy stated.

I then saw that every robot was going straight towards them. I don't know why they aren't coming for me. Maybe it's them they want?

My attention then went on the robot that was on their ball return.

"No offense, but I think I liked you better as a bowling ball," The guy told the robot as it was about to shock them with it's tail.

"Me too," Scoob added.

I couldn't just stand here and do nothing. I had to do something.

I quickly looked around to see what I can use as a weapon. I then found bowling ball, that wasn't those little robots, and used it to smash the robot before it could shock them.

Once I knew it was destroyed, I let out a sigh in relief. And I could tell that the guy and the dog were shocked to see me save them.

"Look out!" The guy shouted. Without warning, he grabbed my hand and started dragging me away from the robots with his dog running beside him.

The only thing I did was try to keep up with them while we ran for our lives.

"They're coming," Scoob said as we ran towards a food court. We then dove into safety behind the counter. Literally.

"What now?" Scoob asked as we could hear the robots getting closer.

"Follow my lead," The guy said.

They then pop out of their hiding places with menus and an outfit that the food court people would wear.

How did they even have the time to put on that stuff?

"Who's hungry?" The guy said.

"Check out the specials," Scoob said as he handed two of the robots a menu.

"So, like, what are you guys in the mood to eat?" The guy asked. "And please don't say human," He added.

"Or dog," Scoob said. Is this even gonna work?

The robots then transformed into something way more cuter than before. I guess it was working. One of the robots then said a few beeps and whirls.

"Okay, Bowling Alley Yakitori," The guy said. "And how about you guys? Hot wings to share?" He then asked. How does he even understand all of them?

I peak out from my hiding spot and see all of the cute robots sitting down on a table as they all nod their heads to the guy's question.

"Got it. And for you?" The guy said as he looked at the other robot in front of him.

It said a few beeps, but the guy then looked worried. I don't know why.

"Oh, no! We're out of calamari," The guy stated. Oh, no. That's bad.

This then got the robot mad as it turned back into its scarier form.

The guy then grabs my hand again and we all make a dash out of the food court.

"This way, guys!" The guys said.

We then jump on the bowling lane and slid towards the bowling pins. We all then scream in fear as we hit all of the pins and made it on the other side.

We then hit a wall and fall down on a few boxes. I couldn't see a thing since there was a box on my head.

"Huh, I always wondered what was back here," I heard the guy say as he took the box off of my head.

"Underwhelming, I guess," I stated.

We then made a run for it while I was riding on Scoob's back.

What have I got myself into?
