Alexis's POV
We all left the control room and started to head down the stairs.
"Dastardly could have finished us if he wanted to. I think he wants you guys alive," Dynomutt told us. But why would he want us?
"I knew you three were important," Blue Falcon said.
"It would be safer for you if you joined us on our mission," Dee Dee said. That actually got me excited.
"Really?" I asked, with a little bit of excitement in my voice.
"Ring, ring! Ring, ring! Ring, ring! Ring, ring!" Blue Falcon started imitating a phone ringing. He then pretended to pull out a phone and answer it. "Boop! Hello? Oh! Uh-huh. Uh-huh. Well, of course," Blue Falcon started saying. I did not know why he was doing that.
He then looked at me, Shaggy, and Scoob.
"Uh, guys, adventure's calling, and it's for you," Blue Falcon said. Oh, I see what he did there.
Shaggy then walks up to the pretend phone and talks to it.
"Hello, adventure. Yes, will you take my name and number off your list?" Shaggy said.
Wait, what?!
"But, Raggy. This is our chance," Scoob told him.
"Yeah, maybe you're right. We can show everyone we're not the weak link. And maybe Alexis can join the group," Shaggy said. After what he said, it made me happy. At least there is someone looking out for me.
Shaggy then goes back to the pretend phone.
"Uh, Mr. Adventure, sir, it's me again. Uh, my partners are intrigued by your offer, but I'm still on the fence. We're gonna have to call you back. Bye-bye," Shaggy said as he pretended to hang up.
Blue Falcon then imitates a clicking sound as he puts the pretend phone back on his belt.
"You guys really wanna do this?" Shaggy asked me and Scoob.
"Uh-huh," Scoob answered.
"Yup," I then answered.
"Well, I'm not gonna let you do it without me. After all there is no 'I' in Scooby, Shaggy, and Alexis," Shaggy said.
"Actually, there is in my name. But I'll just ignore it," I said.
"We're in," Scoob, Shaggy, and I said.
"That's what I'm talking about! Now, I've got a few waivers for you guys to sign," Blue Falcon said. Out of nowhere, balloons started to fall from the ceiling. "Oh, great. Great timing, Keith," He then said.
"Thank you," Said Keith over the speaker.
I guess I'm going on an adventure. Or maybe even a mysterious one.
