When she started a manipulative conversation she always had...

She was in the kitchen I could hear her making herself a vodka and tonic she walked out with a coffee in one hand that I knew would have whiskey in as she handed it to me she sat in that seat and crosses her legs over and stared at her fresh set of nails and said "are you happy with yourself" and I looked up from my drink I see her gaze burning into my eyes "drink up darling I made it with love and expensive liquor" she smiled and nodded her head I knew what she wanted me to do I tried to protest about it burning and as I did she stood up stood above me and pulled out a ice cube and put it into my coffee "drink it you cunt" she spat out as she went to sit back playing with her ring as she looked at the baby monitor

"So you didn't come to my office today and I saw you in the coffee shop" she said with a smile as I was coughing for air after swallowing the hot coffee and liquor. She scoffed and threw a smirk my way as she said "I'll get you a drink of water" as she walked away I saw her grab my phone but I was too busy choking as I felt the burning in my throat.. "Darling you know we always sit at my office so I know where you are" she said in a slight venomous tone then the sentence came up "you know I was waiting for you I was really sad are you not sorry? Wait do you not love me anymore!?" She was crying as she flung herself to the chair she looked at me with mascara on her beautiful face I apologise as soon as I can even though it hurt to breath at that moment in time. "You always apologise then make me feel so comfortable and then do it again making me sad and then act like I'm not the victim you ignored me babe! You always do it to hurt me and don't do anything to help me! Do you even want me or care?" She said before smashing the glass and walking out the door I ran to the kitchen and tried the water she left and gagged it was salt water so it hurt. I text her apologising and bought her jewellery and shoes again. As I heard the kids sobbing I ran to go take care of them and help them get back to sleep.

She came back later and smiled at me "I accept your apology darling" she saw the gifts and scoffed at the shoe "you should know I don't like that shoe you do listen to me right darling" I apologised and gave her my card she slipped away to see the kids I was sighing when she left feeling free to breath again....
