I didn't hear her heels last night as I was working in the kitchen so I was confused she always wore them I looked in our room and saw her staring at a picture of us "wow you really didn't care that I was in here" I tried explaining but she just laughed "you don't notice!?" She sighed and smiled "just lay down it's late we should sleep" she said as she patted the empty space next to her I sat on it "you are heavy" she scoffed and pulled the covers away.
I woke up to an alarm and shut it off looking around and saw her asleep as she laid there I sat up and went downstairs to make breakfast for the kids before they go to school as I was making it I felt her hand touch my shoulder "hey darling" she said and I smiled and told her that I would cook her something "so you didn't think about me" she questioned and walked to the door and I told her how I felt again she turned on her heel "you're always looking for the negative" she said and I nodded as I continued to cook the meals I sat down after and started eating "you're getting heavy you should eat a smaller portion" she said Made a disgusted face "Im cleaning today have you got work" she said I nodded and she chuckled "see what I mean it was a joke you always look for the negative and you're too serious" she said as she got up I bid her goodbye and she scoffed as I went to my car and drove there.
I looked at the door as I stood outside I didn't want to go in but I love my kids too much to let them fight this battle alone and scared as I am. I put my hand on the door handle and pushed it open and greeted my kids and saw her there above me with a unimpressed face "took you long enough to open the door did you not want to come in" she said as she looked me up and down I went to her and she smiled and hugged me I said what i thought about the marriage and she smiled brightly and shook her head "I've told you so many times you are so negative" she said walking away from me into the other room and gave me a faint glare.. I stood there and felt a pair of arms and felt happier...
