He lunged at me.
I backed away quickly, managing to get away just in time. V growled as he straightened up again.
His eyes seemed darker than ever as he looked at me with an unmeasureable amout of hate. I wasn't lucky with the next attack. He tackled me to the ground before his hands found my throat. My body ached for air as I struggled to get out of his grip. I was left with no otrher choice than to raise my knee and kick him into the place-where-the-sun-doesn't-shine.
His eyes widened before he rolled off of me with a pained groan. I stood up quickly as my eyes searched for an escape frantically. My gaze landed onto the guard who was holding the syringe. He had some keys attached to his belt at his waist. I was about to take a step forward, but V grabbed my ankle before I could do so, making me fall down face first.
Tears of pain threatened to spill as V kicked me harshly.
He locked my hands before he started to choke me again. I bit into his hand before I raised my leg and kicked him away with full force.
"You little b-",
he was cut off by the sound of something clanking against the white marble floor.
My eyes filled with horror as I watched him pick up the knive with a sinister smirk. The guard outside the cell chuckled as he watched us with amusement. A yelp escaped my lips when he pressed me against the bars, knive a half inch away from my belly.
Our pants filled the empty room.
I was getting weaker with every second. V took this chance and almost got the knive in touch with my belly.
I gathered the last bit of strengh left in me before I pushed him away again. I turned around quickly before I grabbed the guard's jacket. I pulled him with a lot of force, making him clash against the cell with such force, that he fell unconsious.
I was already smiling in victory, and just when I was about to bend down and take the syringe, I was tackled onto the ground. V was in top of me again, and the knive was dangerously close to me again. V's jaw clenched as he looked at me with one goal.
Killing me.
I looked up and my eyes fell into the guard.I reached out with one hand while trying my best to stop him to stab me with my other. I finally got the tip of the syringe into my fingers and tightened my grip on it.
I got my arm back inside and and looked back at V. And within the next few seconds, the needle was inside him arm, and the knive in my body.
A loud gasp escaped my mouth and then?
Pain.
It made me squirm and whimper on the ground. V backed away with wide eyes as he swayed like drunk person. He clutched his head in pain as he fell onto his kneew.
I leaned against the bar and looked at him.
"V, you're a freaking jerk. And you so owe me one.",
I panted out.
He looked back at me and I smirked at his shocked and warms brown eyes.
"SOYEON!",
he rushed to my side and inspected my would.
"Are you o-"
"Don't you freakin dare ask that, V",
I spat at him harshly.
"I'm so sorr-"
"Shut up!",
I screamed in pain.
He shut up immediately as his eyes filled with regret.
"The guard",
I whispered and nudged to the unconscious body behind the bars.
"T-The key",
I wanted to get out of here.
V rushed over quickly before he grabbed the said object with shaky hands. He unlocked the door before he picked me up gently.
I groaned as pain flared up my side. V opened the door of the room and rushed out. We were greeted with white and empty halls. V started to run, while a trail of red was left behind us.
My blood.
I was loosing way to much blood. My body was weak and my head pounded like thousand fireworks. My eyes slowly started to close themselves.
V seemed to notice.
"Hey hey, Soyeon. Stay awake",
V looked at me worriedly.
I glared at him slightly.
"I'm m-more alive than you existence.",
I rasped out with a weak voice.
My vision started to blurry and I kept blinking to clear it. Slowly, tears started to fall down my eyes when the smell of fresh air invaded my nostrils. I smiled and the heavy suffocating feeling fell off of my chest.
V was looking around and bit his lip. We were surrounded by a forest, meaning that he had no other choice but run into the deep dark forest.
We were still on our tracks, when a loud alarm started to ring behind us..
"Th-That must be y-your dad.",
We heard the barking of dogs and I noticed how V started to sprint even faster.
And we were still way too slow. I was the reason why we were so slow. I was heavy in his arms.
Tears gathered in my eyes and I managed to opened my mouth.
"V ",
I called him quietly.
"W-What ?",
he asked through pants.
"Leave me here."
"WHAT?!"
"I said leave me here. I am a burden right now.", I rasped out with a rough voice.
Tears were falling down Vs cheek and he halted in his steps.
"N-No Soyeon",
he looked at me with a broken expression.
I smiled at him slightly and leaned in to kiss his forehead.
"Be strong V, leave me behind.",
I told him with closed eyes.
V leaned me against a tree.
"S-Soyeon no. I c-can't leave you know.",
V begged through the tears.
"Please don't make me do this."
"V ",
I repeated with a warning voice.
He closed his eyes tightly as he inhaled and exhaled shakily. He opened them again and looked at me with guilt.
"I'll come back. I'll come back and get you Soyeon. I promise.", he reassured me with a shaky voice.
The last thing I saw before I fell unconsious was V's back as he disappeared between the dark pine trees slowly.
