Alli's POV~
I slowly let go of Austin to turn around. When I caught sight of the woman, i couldn't help but smile. I opened up my arms for a hug. I was getting pretty freaked out because she was running at an incredibly fast speed in high heels. It kind of resembled a penguin to me.
Ms. Mahone came into contact with my body and it felt like I got the wind knocked out of me.
"I....Can't....Breathe!" I said but with the little air i had left, it turned out to be almost a whisper.
She reluctantly let go of me and held onto my shoulders as she stepped back to look at me.
"Wow Alli! You've changed a lot since the last time i've seen you!" She exclaimed before hugging me again and looking over at Austin.
In a low voice, and a little bit of hatred..she said to him, "Is Rachel coming over?"
When she said the name of the unknown girl, she rolled her eyes... Yep. That was hatred, and a lot of it too!
"Yeah mom! Of course Rachel is coming over!" Austin replied happily, not even encouraging his mothers eye roll.
"Who's Rachel?" I decided to ask to break the awkward silence.
"My girlfriend!" Austin replied happily before going inside the house.
The word 'girlfriend' kept replaying in my head. I didn't want to admit it, but the stab in the heart was too much.
I, Alli Knight, was jealous.
