i woke up and saw the insta posts. after an hour of sitting on my phone, i got out of bed. i walked over to emma's bed and checked if she was awake. "emma are you alive?" i asked. "mhm" she said sleepily. "okey, so what's up with you and sam?" i asked. "mhm" she said again. "i know you're awake" i said. "mhm" she replied again. "you know what nevermind" i said as i walked away. i walked downstairs and saw jackson. "jackson come here" i said as i walked into the kitchen. "yea what's up?" jackson said as he walked into the kitchen. "do you know what's going on between sam and emma?" i asked. "wait sam and emma have a thing?" jackson said confused. i showed him the comments of our posts. "whoa" he said as he read them. "i'll ask sam later" jackson said. "okey" i said, "also chill with the comments on our posts." "hey i have to flirt somehow" jackson said with a smirk as he left the kitchen. i just rolled my eyes. "y'all definitely need to date" joe said as he walked in. "you heard that?" i asked. "yea, just a bit" joe said as he sat on the counter. "well, i don't even know if i like him" i said as i grabbed a bowl. "well, are you happy around him" joe said. "well yea" i replied as i grabbed some cereal. "okey, now do you think about him a lot?" joe asked. "well kinda" i said as i felt my face get warmer. "okey" he said. "okey what?" i said. "jackson" joe said. i felt my face get hotter. "see you're blushing" joe said as he hopped off the counter. "nooooo" i said as i covered my face. "mhm, you like him" joe said. "well, don't tell him that, i'll tell him" i said. "okey, also i've seen y'all, almost kiss, you so like him" joe said. "YOU SAW THAT!?" i yelled then covered my mouth. "yep" he said. "i'm just gonna go eat my cereal somewhere else" i said as i picked up my cereal. "did jason see y'all?" joe asked. "duh he broke it up" i said. "jason didn't break it up, a fan did..." joe said, "OH, YALL ALMOST KISSED TWICE?!" joe yelled. "SHUT UP" i yelled back. "you're yelling too" joe said. "i'm leaving" i said as i left the room. "shipppp" i heard joe say as i left. i rolled me eyes and went to the porch. i sat down on the bench and ate my cereal. "what's up loser" payton said as he walked outside. "hey idiot" i replied. "what's up with you and jackson?" he asked. "why does everyone ask me that" i replied. "sorry, just wondering" payton said. "well jackson obviously likes me, i don't know if he's faking and i caught feelings, so yea, but don't tell him" i said. "swear i won't" payton said, "i just can't believe, you're going for your brother's best friend." "okey, one, jackson went after me. two, joe's the one telling me to date jackson all the time" i replied. "damn" payton said. "yea" i replied. i was getting a little pissed off. "why are you even talking about this?" i asked while i spooned cereal into my mouth. "it's just, jackson's had his heart broken so much i don't want it to happen again" payton said as he looked at the beach. that sentence made me feel sad. seeing jackson sad, breaks my heart. "that's why i'm taking it slow, making sure that if i do like him, that it's real" i said. "thanks for that, for making sure you won't hurt him" payton said looking at me. "yea" i said not knowing what to say. i ate some more cereal and payton walked down to the beach. what if i do hurt jackson? i can't hurt him. do i actually like him? if i don't like him i can't hurt him...
