A/N: Hey guys, had a couple votes on the last chapter so here is chapter 8! Things are starting to get spicy. Hope you all enjoy it!

John B picked Tony and I up in the Twinkie. "I am truly impressed with how this van can hold all of us!" I call up to John B, who laughs at my comment. Sarah is in the passenger seat but is leaning over the arm rest to talk to Kie. Tony and Pope are obviously talking about the whole morning they spent without each other, and JJ and I sit across from each other, I try my hardest to avoid eye contact.

"Okay, fuck this." I hear JJ say as he stands up in the van and makes his way to sit closer to me. "Mae, we need to talk about the-"

"JJ," I say cutting him off, "No pogue-on-pogue making was the first rule you told me." I say remembering how I felt like this would be a cop-out from actually talking. JJ nods his head in frustration.

"Alright, well then why were you just as ready as I was?" JJ's question took me by surprise. I could feel myself starting to sweat, I turn my head to face away form JJ.

"Um, well." I begin but the words I want to say stay at the bottom of my throat and my defense takes control. "I think I was just caught up in the moment, and um," I turn to face JJ, "I think we have a good friendship, and that kiss could have messed it up and made things awkward." The words come out fast. "I was scared of one of us regretting it." I add. While what I said was exactly the truth, it wasn't a lie either.

"Alright, just friends then? We are going to draw the line there?" JJ tone is calm as he looks down at his fee.

"Yeah," The word tasted bad coming out of my mouth, I wanted to take it back as soon as I said it. JJ gives me a reassuring smile, helping me feel a little better.

"Okay, I can do that." JJ holds his hand out for me to shake it. "Friends."

"Friends." I say, taking his hand in mine. JJ's smile falters for a second, but he is quick to fix it.

Once arriving to the party JJ acts as if our almost kiss never happened, and so do I. The music is loud as we enter the front door. We make our way to the kitchen with the alcohol we brought and add it to the collection of what is on the table.  Tony and I take our first shot of the night, then we all grab a drink.

Kie decided to hang around John B and Sarah, and who the hell knows where Tony and Pope ran off to. Leaving just me and JJ to wonder into the backyard. JJ and I look around to see a beer pong table.

"Would you be interested in being my partner?" I ask, slightly scared that JJ will say no and will leave me alone to fend for myself as punishment for friend zoning each other.

"Are you any good?" JJ asks with a smirk.

"Are you any good?" I mock. JJ laughs and leads us towards the table.

"Anyone want to play?" JJ hollers over the music. Two male brunettes in pastel polo shirts walk up the the other end of the table. They pick up their ping pong balls and nod towards JJ. "Let the game begin!" JJ announces as him and the first guy throw the ping pong ball at the same time. JJ makes the first cup while the other guy misses.

"Looks like we will be starting." I call across the table in a joking matter. The two guys don't seem amused by JJ and I. I turn to whisper into JJ's ear as he takes a drink. "You'd think with all the money they have they could at least buy a personality." JJ spits a little of his drink and laughs.

"You'd think so." JJ says as he wipes his face with the back of his hand. After five more rounds, JJ and I continued to demolish anyone who played against us. We had to start drinking with the people we were up against just so we could get drunk. Finally no one wanted to play us, granted we were being kind of obnoxious.
