Hope's POV:

When we get back to the helicarrier. Loki is immediately escorted to his cell and Fury goes in to talk to him. I walk to the bridge with the other god, Thor, walking beside me. "What is your name young maiden?" He asks me. I give him a small smile. "Hope." I say.

"It is a pleasure to meet you Lady Hope." He says. "The pleasure is all mine Thor." I say. We regroup with the others. We all sit on the bridge watching the interrogation go on. It's quite entertaining to see how unaffected by Loki Fury is.

I can even see it in the god's face that he's annoyed with the director. When Fury leaves I turn to the rest of the table to see what the plan is. "He really grows on you doesn't he." A man that was introduced as Bruce Banner says. I smirk at his comment.

"Loki is going to drag this out so, Thor, what's his play?" Steve asks. "He has an army, called the Chitari. They're not of Asgard nor of any world known. He means to lead them against your people, they shall win him the earth. In return, I suspect, for the Tesseract." Thor explains.

"An army. From outer space." Steve says like he can't believe it. "So he's building another portal. That's what he needs Erik Selvig for." Bruce says. "Selvig?" Thor asks. "He's an astrophysicist." Bruce explains. "He's a friend."

"Loki has him under some sort of mind control. Along with one of ours." Nat says, looking down. I look at her sadly. "Papilio lux." I mutter. I see her shoulder's relax and she looks up smiling at me. I use my comfort spell on her a lot. She stresses about everything.

"I wanna know why Loki let us take him. He's not leading an army from here." Steve says. "I don't think we should be focusing on Loki. That guy's brain is a bag full of cats, you can smell crazy on him." Bruce says.

"Have care how you speak. Loki may be beyond reason, but he is of Asgard and he is my brother." Thor says. "He killed 80 people in two days." Nat informs him. "He's adopted." Thor mutters and I smile.

His relationship with Loki reminds me of the one I witnessed between my dad and Uncle Elijah. "I think it's about the mechanics. The iridium, what do they need the iridium for?" Bruce asks. "It's a stabilizing agent. Which means the portal won't collapse in on itself like it did at SHIELD."

Makes sense. Stark walks further in to the room. "No offense point break, you've got a mean swing." He says, tapping Thor on the shoulder. The god looks confused at what just happened. I smirk. Poor guy, he's very unaware of this world's customs.

"Also means that the portal can open as wide and stay open as long as Loki wants." He calls out random ship commands before outing one of the tech guys for playing Galaga. I hold back a laugh at his antics. This guy is ridiculous.

"The rest of the raw materials Agent Barton can get his hands on pretty easily. Only major thing he still needs is a power source of high energy density. Something to kickstart the cube." He says. "When did you become an expert in Thermonuclear Astrophysics?" Hill asks.

"Last night. The packet. Selvig's notes. The extraction theory papers. Am I the only one who did the readings" Stark asks. "Does Loki need any particular kind of power source?" Steve asks. "He'd have to heat the cube to 150 million kelvin just to break through the Coulomb barrier."

"Unless Selvig has found a way to stabilize the quantum tunneling effect." Stark adds to Bruce's answer. "Well, if he could do that he could achieve heavy ion fusion at any reactor on the planet." Bruce counters. "Finally, someone who speaks English." Tony says.

"Is that what just happened?" Steve asks me. I laugh. "No, that's geek English, we speak the normal English." I tell him. He smiles at my joke. "At least I'm not the only one confused at what's going on here." He say. "I'm not here for my brains Steve." I remind him.

"Good to meet you Dr. Banner. Your work on anti electron collisions is unparalleled. Also, I'm a huge fan of how you lose control and turn into an enormous green rage monster." Stark says. I roll my eyes at this.

He doesn't know what it's like to turn into something else that is completely savage and monstrous. To have people fear you. "Thanks." Bruce says, but he looks uncomfortable. "Dr. Banner is only here to track the cube. I was hoping you would join him." Fury says, walking up.

"Let's start with that stick of his. It may be magical, but it works an awful lot like a Hydra weapon." Steve says. "Agent Mikaelson I want you to look at the scepter alone. I will talk to Banner and Stark for a second. You have five minutes." "Yes sir." I reply, exiting the bridge.

I get to Banner's lab and walk over to the scepter and place my hands over it. "Denne legatura." I mutter. When I don't feel any more magic enter me from the scepter I know at least Loki doesn't have a witch working with him.

It's based on the power of the Tesseract which isn't technically 'magic' Sighing I pull my hands away right as Bruce and Stark walk in with Fury. "Anything?" Fury asks me. "Nothing." I say. "What were you looking for kid?" Stark asks curiously.

"Nothing you need to know about." I say, walking out. Fury follows me. "Hope, I want you to do another search for Barton, no doubt Loki is planning something.' He says. I sigh. "Do you have anymore blood?" He sighs. "No, I don't you used the last on his stash in the last spell." He says.

"Well then I can't track him." "Fine, just look through all of your books and see if you can figure something out." He tells me. I nod and head off to my secret room.
