Joseph came home from work. He saw my face and ran to me. Babe? What the hell happened? I-it's m-my f-fault. I said under my breath. I ruined everything.
Joseph's pov
Babe tell me everything. I said sitting her down. We snuggled on the couch and she rested her head on my chest. She told me everything. Babe...it's not your fault. People tend to forget. Ok let's go to the room. Ok she replied really quietly. She laid on the bed and got on her phone. I kissed her on the head and was about to leave the room. I'm gonna make us some drinks.
Ellis Pov
Ok babe. I texted daphnie but got no reply. I texted Ryan. He read it but didn't reply. I wait for Joseph. He came back with a bottle of wine and two wine glasses. Thanks baby I said. Never a problem. He replied. We watch and ton of Christmas movies and stuff. I fell asleep on his chest.
The next day
Daphnie's pov
Ryan ended up getting a job at chipotle so he went to work. I went with an old friend named Chelsea to Starbucks. She was also engaged to jerrel another old friend. We sat outside and we both got a crambrulea latte. I saw Joseph working there but I didn't talk to him. The next thing I see was elli. She walked past our table but didn't talk to us. She got a regular mocha frap. She gave Joseph a kiss and left. She walk by our table without a word. I was temped to grab her hand and apologize but I couldn't. I just missed my chance.
