The Door

The Next Day

It's about 7:30 in the morning.I usually get up around this time but I don't start getting ready until about 8:00 since school doesn't start until 9.Anyway I got up slipped my sthirt and pants on and ran down stairs to make breakfast.I quickly made an egg and cheese sandwich with some orange juice.By now it's about 8:25 so after I finished eating I ran back up stairs threw my socks on, tied my shoes put my laptop in my backpack and swung my backpack onto my back,ran back down stairs and flew out the door.I can't explain how much I hate school I don't even know why I rushed to get out of the house so fast,I have long enough before I have to be in class.I went to my friend Rudys house since I had some time to spare.I didn't know if I should tell him about that door or not.He tends to get over excited and will sometimes over exadurate.I knocked on the door waiting for answer.About a half a minute later Rudy shows up at the door I his white t shirt with cheese puff stains on it and grey sweat pants and to top off that out fit his hair looks like two racoons jumped on his head and starting wrestling to the death.He started to walk away from the door signaling for me to come in.I walked in following him as he went back in to his room and slammed his face into his bed.
"Let's go Rudy ,we have school were gonna be late" I complained.He replied with an unpleasant groan.
"Uhhh I don't want to" he moaned.
"Let's go Rudy or I'm leaving without you".I said in a stronger voice.He grabbed his pillow from the end of his bed and slammed his face into that this time.He looked up and gave me a dirty look.I knew he wasn't actually mad so I grabbed the pillow and hit him with it.Finally he got up and started to undress.
"Uh wow wanna give me some kinda warning that your about to strip next time,thanks".I said kind of shocked.I walked out of his room and went into the kitchen where the front door is.2 minutes later Rudy came out of the room dressed with his back pack on and ready.
"Ready to go?" he asked.I nodded my head,opened the door and walked out.Rudy doesn't live far from the school,that's why I stop here every other morning.The time Is some where around 8:45 which still gives us some time.We decided to start running because neither of us is wanting to be late today.We got to school just on time.I sat down at the desk,got my papers out and started to work.I realized that I had to go to the bathroom very badly so I asked if I could leave the room to go.When I opened the door I looked both ways to see if there was anyone coming my way,nobody was coming so I got to walk at my speed,which obviously was slower than a snail because I hate the class I'm in now and I've always been desperate to find ways to pass time.I find that when I walk slow I notice more of the smaller things around me.As i was walking down the hall way I noticed something bigger.The door.The same door I had seen yesterday.It was a big blue door with a golden nob.I stopped and stared at the door in confusion.
"Is this door gonna show up everywhere?" I thought.I walked over to the door and noticed something else.There was a window on this door.But the weird part was,it was solid black.Just darkness.I could very clearly see the glass but after that I was confused as to what I was looking at.Just like yesterday I slowly put my hand on the nob and turned,only it wasn't locked this time.I opened the door and went inside before anyone saw I just walked into a random door.And there it was.The same place I saw yesterday.A beautiful mountain peak,tall trees,flowers.Its just as amazing.I started to walk a little further,thinking that nothing bad or scarey would happen this time.Suddenly,there was flash.In the sky,between the clouds.There was a long white light coming from the clouds to the ground.At this point I was just as scared as yesterday but this time I didn't run back to the door.I wondered if I was ready for what was about to happen.
