Harrys Pov:
Why is it so warm in here?, was the first thing that came to mind when my eyes finally peeled un-wantingly open. I looked over at the clock on the night stand. 7:00am. Why am I up so early? I felt a cool breeze and looked up to see the window wide open, snow on the ledge and sticking to the glass. If it's snowing, why is it so warm? I heard a soft whine and turned my head slowly to see Mallory close to waking up, her skin almost matching the color of the white abyss that was slowly making it's way into the room. The only part of her that didn't look porcelin white was her cheeks, which we're slightly pink, almost making it look as if she was blushing in her sleep. I slowly crept out of the bed, trying my best to not wake her and grabbing my plaid robe from the floor and slipping it on. The minute I got out of the bed and away from Mallory's body heat, the cold hit me like shards of glass. I quickly shut the window, brushing the snow back outside and watching it fall down the many levels to the street below. I was surprised to see that there were fans camped outside the hotel, ecspecially in this weather. I couldn't decide whether people were right in saying that our fans are insane, or if they are truely that dedicated. It really could go either way.
"Why'd you shut the window?" I heard Mallory groan lightly from the bed. I turned to face her, a smile on my face.
"Well, some of us don't want to freeze to death," I informed her as I laid back on the sheets, taking joy in the heat of the covers and the surprising warmess of her back as she took her spot back against my chest.
"Please, it's burning in here," She remarked, as she blew hair out of her eyes, the smile on her face weak.
"Why are you so hot?" I questioned, feeling even more worried than usual.
"I don't know, ask my parents. I must be adopted," She sighed as her eyes began to droop closed.
"No, I mean you're burning up," I exhaled, as I pressed the back of my hand to her forehead, blown away by the fire-like touch it had.
"Am I? I just thought it was hot in here," She muttered as she placed my hand back on her forehead, clearly enjoying the coldness against the warm.
"Yeah because it always snows when it's hot," I smirked, placing both my hands on the sides of her face, hoping to cool the heat.
"Sarcasm is the last resort to a mind that is imaginatively bankrupt," She retorted as she tried to sit up, only for her attempt to fail, causing her head to fall back onto the array of pillows with a soft thump. I slid my arms around her, picking her up and resting her bare back against the head board.
"Thanks," She sighed appreciatively, "So how's your morning been so far?"
"Well, aside from almost freezing to death, pretty good, you?"
"Swell."
"Well after last night, I would hope so," I smiled as she rested her head on my shoulder.
"No doubt about it," Mallory sighed, her body heat beginning to dull down a bit.
"Good morning, beautiful," I whispered softly, almost un-audibly after a few long moments of silence. There was a soft tap on the door. Mallory and I both looked at eachother quickly and I hopped off the bed, throwing a pair of pajamas beside her and sliding into a pair of shorts and an old shirt.
