The love for Qiao was blossoming too much for poor Lu who was trying his best not dream on him too much and the regular visit of Qiao was making it harder for him to concentrate on it.

His heart was always up in his chest trying to jump out to make itself known to the man he was having attraction that he loved him.

It was hard very hard maybe that was why Lu always tried himself to spent a lot of time less than usual.

Yuoning was smelling something wrong in the environment. Qiao hidden glances and Lu occasional lame excuses to get out their attentions.

She was smelling too much for her mind that she find herself thirsty to know what was the cause until he saw a look that only his brother gives to her and father, the look of love. Was Qiao Chuseng, the powerful underworld king and the fearsome inspector was falling in love with silly Lu.

Yuoning find it hard to digest and it was so hard that she find herself thinking of all the reason why her brother look at the uninterested man like he is some gold or something but last time she checked the man he calls her brother was not a gold digger so why.

She promised herself that she was going to get things clearee much sooner than later she was going to go deep into this whirlpool to find whether her guess was correct.

A new case came up but this was not the normal case people would have to involve a case of Yuoning were her father was the culprit and she was the victim. The inspector in the role is Lu Yao and the enemy is Qiao Chuseng.

Mr Bai, the father of Yuoning was having a diner with a family to engage her daughter with the son. They were close friends of with his father the boy was the younger child whatsover but one thing was sure she was going to shoo them away but she want an extra hand and that's what Lu was.

Lu find himself seated on the other side of a table looking at Yuoning like she lost her mind while she was writing like the world was going to end.

*What's the problem being with this engagement you just had to accept or decline it if it didn't workout* Lu said looking utterly confused and afraid.

*No father of mine would do this and will go away without punishment and moreover I am still angry with the decision he took to remarry someone* Yuoning said stubbornly.

*Last time I check the man was alone for a long time so having a company of someone is great than being alone* Lu reasoned to make her see the positive side. The only answer he got was a glare.

*What about Qiao he is going to kill me if he understand that I an adult supported a petulant girl who acting like a brat* said Lu gravely while Yuoning looked at him like "are you crazy" look.

*If you didn't help me then I would give your journal to my brother* said Yuoning looking at him while smiling sinisterilly.

*You devil* but stopped when he saw Qiao coming there way. He covered all the material with a cloth and looks at Qiao smiling innocently like Yuoning.

*Why am I smelling trouble in here* questioned Qiao looking at the smiling faces of Lu and Yuoning.

Both of them shooked their heads innocently while Qiao looked at them sternly he was strictly asked by Mr Bai to look after his daughter to prevent her pulling some harmless prank on him while he met the rich family in private.

Qiao decided to sleep on their couch that day to prevent anyone from pulling a prank but unknown to him both the troublemakers changed their plan while he was doozing off on the couch.

The next day,

Qiao find himself waking up seeing Lu looking at him innocently while Yuoning was out of sight.

*Where is Yuoning* asked Qiao accusingly with a strong doubt.

*In bathroom* said Lu looking at him hurt well more like acting like hurt.

Qiao nodded and joined Lu to help him make breakfast then he started looking for Yuoning only to find her that she had some food poisoning so she don't want anyone to come there.

Qiao rushed out of the house to buy some medicines for Yuoning as Lu was unable to find one as he was making some kind of broth that needed to brewed for one hour with things soaked in water for four hours or so.

Yuoning came back some seconds before Qiao acting like she was in pain while smiling like a devil when Qiao was not looking at her. That day Lu understood that she was a very good actor like him.

The diner gone went colourfully, the father and the family found themselves soaked in wine and flour but the most baddest fact was they had broken eggs on their head which made them quite colourful to say.

The family run away from the manor in fear as they were too experienced with the child of the man. Mr Bai find himself looking at the family who was running out of their house in anger well more like pity though no one run out because they were pranked so atlast he understood that he choosed the worng one for his daughter.

Qiao find himself looking at his adopted father scratching his neck awkwardly because the man was covered in flour and eggs from head to toes. Yuoning beside him was openly laughing while leaning on the wall trying her best to control her laugh but when she saw her father again she burst into a laughing fit again while her father scrowl at her.

*What happened here I thought I told you to keep an eye on her* asked Mr. Bai glaring at her laughing daughter.

*Well I was but Lu Yao told me that she had food poisoning so I went to buy her medicine while he made some broth for her* Qiao informed at Mr. Bai who was looking quite the funny way but he never dared to laugh at him while he would have if Yuoning was not present.

*This man is the one who is making my girl a devil* said Mr. Bai scornfully- I should have killed him said Mr. Bai looking at his laughing daughter angrily.

But was surprised to find her looking at him disappointed. *If you do that then your son would die with a broken heart* Yuoning informed while looking at her father angrily.

*Wait son* Mr. Bai looked at Qiao shocked. Qiao find himself standing awkwardly looking at them.
