Alicia placed two desert plates on the glass kitchen table, setting up napkins and teaspoons by either side.

Her homemade banana cake sat in the centre of the table, slathered with vanilla icing and hundreds and thousands in the shape of a three and six. She had devoted two and a half hours to perfecting it, just to make Robert's day even more special.

"Owh," he smiled, sliding around the perimeter of the table, eyeing the cake. "It looks very, very nice."

"I hope so," Alicia murmured, pulling out the chair for him. "Take a seat, my man."

"I believe it's supposed to be the other way around, my beautiful lady," he retorted, pushing the chair back in, the legs scraping against the linoleum. He navigated his way to the other side; Alicia's side, pulling out that chair. "Sit."

Her facial muscles stretched up into a broad smile. His greyish blue eyes were alive, glistening with a young, carefree, playful attitude. For once, he was acting his age.

"Are you gonna make me?"

"I could make you do a lot of unspeakable things," he smirked, his arms encircling her stomach from behind. "As it is my birthday, and I am the dominant, I am telling you to sit."

Alicia rolled her eyes, caving into him. She sat in the chair as he pushed it in, kissing her swiftly on the cheek.

"I think you'll be needing this," she giggled, holding out his black handled cooking knife. "If you touch the bottom, you have to kiss the nearest person."

Robert gasped mockingly, accepting the implement from her. "Oh no, what ever shall I do Ms Stellar? Surely I would hate kissing you. God knows I might get girl cooties."

He stabbed the cake, and slid the blade all the way to the bottom. Something about the way his hand had moved so fast through the air put her on edge, but perhaps it was an advantage in the long run. If she found herself in trouble, he would be able to fight off her attackers, like he had Sean and Toby.

"Oops," he smirked, pushing the cake aside, his eyes fixed only on her. "I touched the bottom, Ms Stellar."

Alicia leaned forward just in time to capture his lips. She laced her arms around him, running her hands into his hair, curling strands of it around her fingers. His hands guided her up onto the actual table itself, laying her down gently against the cold glass. She yelped in shock, gasping as her exposed back made contact. She shivered, clutching Robert tight against her for warmth.

"Don't worry baby," he whispered huskily, nuzzling her nose with his. "I'll warm you up."

Luleå had a cosy, warm, tight-knit feeling about it. Everyone knew other people well, and it wasn't often that any major events went unheard or unpublished.

The wooden houses and cottages reminded Xavier of a Medieval story, their rooftops blanketed with a thin layer of snow. Most of the stuff had melted since spring had sprung, and for that he was grateful. Sweden could become unbearably cold during winter, then unbearably hot during summer. His home country, Finland, was much the same. While Scandinavia was his home, he would be moving to the United States later this year.

He rounded the upcoming corner, into Starbucks. While it didn't make great coffee like the other local cafes, he would only remain in here for business. It was a brief matter, and once he had spoken with his colleagues, he would be out of here within a heartbeat.

Pulling up a wooden-backed chair by the east, he ran the plan through his mind once more. The man who had killed Dandy, Sean and Toby was still walking around out there, living, breathing, and probably having sex, while his best friends were dead. Six feet under. Xavier had found their bodies in the alleyway in Stockholm, and had given them a proper burial, like they deserved.
