Dyna's P.O.V

'Please pity me. Don't kill me. Please spare me...'

I kept begging for my life. By now, my tear glands must have gone numb from crying. But this beast in front of me was simply heartless. He let out that satanic laugh and pulled the trigger.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

'Sister, she has regained consciousness!' someone shouted.

'Are you okay?' the same rough and at the same time gentle voice laced with concern asked.

I opened my eyes and found a pair of gorgeous and inquisitive honey brown eyes, two inches from my face, gazing intensely at me. As I analysed him, I realised that this angel looking guy was damn handsome. He had perfect features: the lively eyes, the pointed nose, the thin mouth, strong jaws, muscles of right proportion and in right place.

Arrgg...Dyna, control yourself...stop ogling at him like a creep!!!
Obviously my eyes refused to cooperate with my mind and thus continuing to openly check him out for he was outstandingly striking.

'Am I in heaven?' I wondered aloud.

And the angel let out a heart-warming laugh. As if he was not enough handsome that now he was smiling. This is definitely heaven!

'No, you still have to wait, which I hope a very long time, for that,' he replied smirkingly.

As I scanned the room, I realised that I was lying on a bed in the hospital.

'How did I end up here?' I asked wondering

Drake's P.O.V

'Oh I thought you would never ask! Do you have any idea what I went through to finally get you here?!' I exclaimed at her on an exaggerating tone.

Frankly speaking, it was no trouble to bring her here. It was around 3am that I found her lying in the middle of the road.

Ah you must be asking yourself what the hell I was doing 3 am awake?

Actually I'm a contract murderer and on that day, I was hired to kill someone. So I was simply going for my prey.

Okay...Chill! I'm just kidding.

I was simply unable to sleep. It had been hours since I kept rolling for a suitable position to get a wink of sleep but in vain. So I decided to get out for some fresh air and also in hope to tire myself physically so that my brain can finally cooperates and stops struggling against sleep! So there I was on my bike cycling to no specific place but just enjoying that swift breeze slapping me on the face until I felt my bicycle runnning on something. As I took a closer look, I realised.... Oh damn! That was not something, this was rather SOMEONE! Oh God, have I ran into someone or what? I immediately went to the lying person.

Yeah that's how I met this girl. From her attire, she definitely looked like a hobo who most probably ridiculously thought that the road would be a wonderful place to sleep.

She was bleeding. One thing for sure is that my bike was not responsible for her state. It seemed that she was knocked over by a car.
This sure seemed to be a hit and run case as I stated to the police. I cannot risk being held responsible in case something happens to her, so no need to be surprised that I reported to the police.

Her clothes was torn and muddy. She was bleeding excessively. In the darkness, I could not make out her face properly but she was in urgent need for medical care. I was in the poorest section of the city and the hospital is just nearby. I quickly grabbed her and managed to get her to the hospital by bike. Thankfully, she was very light. That's quite obvious anyway. She most probably gets one meal per day.

It was after two days that she has now regained consciousness. I was strangely ecstatic on seeing her fluttering her eyelids. Yeah I was not merely thankful or glad that she was alive. I was overjoyed and above all relieved.

Now looking at her, I'm seriously doubting where she really was a vagrant. She was beautiful. As her glassy black eyes stared at me, I innerly shuddered as it felt like she could read my soul. Her curly black hairs adorned her pretty face making her look absolutely gullible. I was surprised as she spoke. Her voice was nothing as I expected. On the contrary, her voice sounded firm and even daunting and as she took a sitting composure, I oddly felt a sense of elegance and classiness emanating from her.

'Oh I thought you would never ask! Do you have any idea what I went through to finally get you here?!'

'So you are the one who brought me here. I will remain eternally grateful for this. Thank you, Sir,' she said and smiled at me genuinely.

Woah! She had a very refined english as well. Who was she?!

'Sir?! Hey no need to be so formal. I'm Drake Reynold.' I extended my hand to her and without hesitation she gripped it and gave a firm handshake.

'Dyna,' she said showing her cute dimples.

I gave her a brief summary of what happened and how I heroically saved her life which I exaggerated a bit just to take some credit. Modesty was never really me.

'But seriously, I understand that it is hard for you to find yourself a shelter. Still, out of all place, how could you opt for the road? A car could practically run over you which was by the way almost the case.'

Dyna's P.O.V

What was he talking about?

Without realising, I frowned at him.

'You are homeless, aren't you?' He asked warily.

How dare he?! Is he blind or foolish? In which angle do I look poor? I fumed mentally.

But then, on second thoughts, in the conditions he found me, it was already a miracle that he did not mistake me for a dead animal.

'Who are you?' He pressed curiously.

Revealing my identity could prove to be risky. Those kidnappers could easily track me and my parents were already out of town. I could not afford act hastily right now.

'Yes I am homeless.'

A very Merry Christmas guys!

I myself have no idea where this story is leading us.

So be patient... xD
