'Guys, I'm suffocating in here. Im returning home now!' I shouted to my drunk friends over that blasting music.

The place was getting more and more overcrowded. That cheap music was going to explode my head in no time. Ryan, my ridiculously handsome boyfriend was clinging to one of those stuck-up barbie dolls
Alert: Fake! Overdose of make up and lack of clothing!
Yeah, like everyone else, I too wondered why I'm still stuck to that two-timing or possibly multiple-timing guy. Well maybe I simply melt before those damn puppy eyes the next morning. Bah! Why lying to myself? It was mostly because he was very handsome. Countless of girls were after him. So show off, you know? Comes to great use at school. Haha!

What a pathetic party!

I should definitely get out. After a lot of efforts of making my path through those dense crowds of dancing people, I finally pave the way out. Thankfully my parents were out of country for a business deal or else they would have never allowed me staying this late partying. Arrggg they can be so overprotective at time! Lecturing me all the time 'how I should feel lucky that God bestowed everything I could ever wish to me' or 'how I should always be on my guards'. I don't why! But they always fear for the worst scenario.

Okay I do admit that I live a very luxurious life with everything granted to me on silver plates. Well what's the big deal?! Almost everyone at school lives more or less the same standard of living as mine. Yeah I can be a little richer but no big difference.

I removed my phone from my bag and called my driver.

'Hello! I just got out of the party. Im waiting for you at the gate.'

In no time, the car pulled in front of me and out of the blue a sudden feeling of restlessness groped my heart. Blaming my tipsiness, I put it aside and entered the car.

However, the car continued its way, that strange feeling of apprehensiveness didn't subside. I had an intuition that something was wrong although I could not place exactly what it was.

As I looked across the window to while the time and wane that wariness, I got confused. We were not on the highway!

'But where the hell was I?' I wondered.

It seems that we have reached the suburbs. The road was deserted and it was pitch dark except for the faint light in one of the miniature houses. According to my knowledge in geography, which was, let's say, below average, we were directing away from the city and that was definitely not the way home.

'Euh...Driver, will you please tell me where are we going?' I asked the chaffeur.

'Home! Where else?' He answered grumpily.

'Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is not the way home!' Along with confusion and nervousness, this driver was getting on my nerves.

'No, you are not wrong! This is the way to my home.' He then turned and smirked at me.

But then who is he? I have never seen him before. No new member has been appointed recently, so one thing I'm almost sure is that he was not part of our staff. I was by now panic-stricken.

'wh who who are y-y-y-ou?' I stammered.

'Oh I forgot to introduce myself. I'm sincerely sorry. I didn't mean to scare you. I sincerely apologise but I regret that I cannot reveal my name. That's risky, y'know?' He asked grinningly.

I just nodded blankly.

'I have been hired to kidnap you by someone who is offering a great sum of money. So right now, I'm at work and I request you to please cooperate. Otherwise...' He pulled a gun out of nowhere and shook it at me. 'You don't have to worry, the boss wants you alive but didn't precise anything about the state. So I won't kill you.'

What the hell! I was being kidnapped?

It took over 5 minutes realisation to finally sink upon me. Damn reaction time!!!!

Oh God! What now? I can't possibly accept to cooperate with this brute?

'There must surely be a way out. Let me think. Let me think. Let me think,' I mentally kept on rambling.

No one can know my car better than I do! That must come to use, nah? Let me replay every details about this vehicle in my mind. Oh got'cha! The automatic door lock on the right side is broken and I'm almost sure that this is unknown to the kidnapper. Over time, the driver forgot to get it repaired and we got used to handle the lock manually.

Well if I opened the door and threw myself out while the car is moving was obviously too dangerous. Either I would give up my life right after the landing or I would be so hurt that I would be in no position to escape from him and I would end up easing his task.

Oh a traffic light ahead!

Please be red. Please be red. Please be red. Orange! Red!

As the car slowly halted, I confidently placed my hand on the door handle and opened the door. In no time, Dyna Skye, alas ME, was enjoying freedom. A very short lived freedom. Better than nothing, isn't it?

It went without saying that it did not take long for the kidnapper to realise my typical action movie act and he was found roaring and running after me with his gun.

Under my adrenaline rush, I kept running. Over what felt like hours of running, I could no longer feel my legs. Instead I felt my heart pounding threateningly to tear the flesh of my chest. My vision too has started to blur.

BUT at this point I could not stop! I had only two options:
One: Surrender to this cannibal looking kidnapper, which obviously didn't sound appealing as choice.

Two: Continue to run until I manage to ecape from his wrath. Note that I had no idea where I was. May the lord help!

I simply could not run anymore. Panting, I stopped abruptly on my way to recover and boost my energy level that I suddenly realised that I was standing in the middle of a road. And before, I could react I was blinded by dazzling headlights. A car was coming exactly in my direction at full speed and all I did was freeze to my position! As the driver tried to swerve his car past me, darkness overpowered me.
