First months on Earth

Ava POV

I look at the small girl coming towards me. She seems more confident than the first time I saw her. Almost pretentious. I don't remember her name but with the smile that she is throwing at me, I'm sure she is going to give it to me.

She places herself in front of me and although she's smaller, she looks at me like she thinks she's more important. Not the first person in this place that believes that but it is the first time for sure that I see that expression on her face.

I wait for her to talk but it seems like she wants me to go first.

Fine, I'll bite.

"Can I help you with something?", I ask, closing my book and putting it on my lap.

Reading here is hell.

She smirks and nods.

"I wanted to know how it felt.", she says slyly.

How it felt what?

I am not here to deal with these humans and I thought I made it clear that I was only here to help because I wanted Finn to be able to go back to the Faerie world and not because I actually cared about their cause.

I send her an unimpressed expression and she looks a little discouraged.

Is she trying to make me jealous? Does she think that he hides that from me? Maybe I should stop her here. That could go for a little longer and I have a book to read.

-he chose me over you.", she finally finishes her statement and looks really proud.

I wonder if she practiced it before coming here.

She looks at me and seems to wait for me to be angry. Maybe she wants to see me scream at Finn or something. Who knows with humans?

"Listen, -, I wait for her to tell me her name, but she doesn't seem to pick it up.

-can you let me read in peace?"

She looks at me with a surprised face before erasing the expression.

"I slept with Finn! Aren't you going to be mad?'

"Is that why you told me that?"

"You think you are so powerful and superior to us but we all know that you don't even have wings anymore and that you can't go back to your world because you're accused of treason. You don't have anything more than us!", she explodes.

Well, that's making me mad. But I won't take care of Finn's conquests. He can do that alone.

"Fine, I will leave then. You can have the chair but I'm telling you, nobody here will let you read in silence.", I say before getting up and walking to the garden.

POV Finn

I see Ava looking at the plants deep in thought.

"Ava?", I ask and she nods, telling me that she heard me.

I approach her.

"Move asshole, I want to sit next to you.", I say and I push her.

She finally moves and she puts her head on my shoulder.

"Who do I need to kill?", I ask and she chuckles.
