The Ten Deadly Sins are Greed, Anger, Pride, Gluttony, Sloth, Envy, Lust, Deceit, Hate, and Folly. Sins are the opposites of the goals of virtues. Sins cause pain to the family, and virtues cause the family blessings. Sins are not a source of power. Instead they are a source of self destruction. Sins cause destruction and loss of investment. It is sin that causes marriages to result in divorce. It is sin that causes self hatred. It is sin that causes sadness.
