We were all hanging out in the basement and Kelso was making Hyde and Fez do something that involved pushing their hands against a doorway.
"Push. Push. Come on, you gotta push it." Kelso encouraged making sure that he was doing it right.
"How much longer?" Hyde asked breathing heavily.
"10 seconds. You gotta push harder or it's not gonna work." Kelso yelled again.
"This is so stupid." Hyde complained.
"It's not stupid. You're gonna love it." Kelso defended.
"I'm not gonna love it." Hyde said rolling his eyes.
"Okay, that's time. Step away from the door." Kelso said waiting for his reaction. Hyde stepped out of the doorway and Hyde's hands began floating upward, but he wasn't moving them.
"Kelso, you're a genius." Fez complimented.
"Yeah, well, it's magic." Kelso blushed.
"You guys are idiots." I said rolling my eyes as I continued to read my magazine.
"Don't lump me in with those idiots." Hyde said taking my magazine.
"Hey, I was reading that." I complained.
"Yeah, well, now I'm reading it." He said taking his usual seat and flipping through the pages.
"Meany." I said sticking my tongue out at him.
"Oh, my God. Finally. I am so dehydrated." Jackie said as Eric came down the stairs.
"Here. Piggly-Wiggly Diet Creme Soda." Eric said handing her the beverage.
"I told you my top three choices were Tab, Fresca, or Diet Rite." Jackie complained.
"Again, you get Piggly-Wiggly Diet Creme Soda." Eric emphasized.
"Then I'll just have water." Jackie said trying to get Eric to get her a water.
"You know, there's a hose in the backyard." Donna suggested and I laughed.
"I've noticed that the pop selection has really went downhill... since your dad got laid off." Kelso said insensitively.
"He's not laid off, he's just part-time." Eric said defending dad.
"And shut up. If you don't like our pop selection, feel free to go home, Kelso." I added defending dad as well.
"Rude." Kelso said hurt. Then mom came running down the stairs excitedly.
"Kids. Kids, kids, kids. The President is coming." She said giddily.
"What President?" Eric asked.
"The President of these United States, Gerald R. Ford, the 36th... Eighth... 40th... I don't know. He's the President." Mom said not knowing what number president he was.
"He's actually the thirty-eighth President of the United States." I said and everyone looked at me weird. "What? I like history." I defended.
"Why would Ford come to Point Place?" Eric asked confused.
"Because we are a whistle-stop along... his Wisconsin campaign trail. My dad organized it." Jackie said bragging.
"Dear, the next time... you know a president is coming to town... please give me a little more notice. I need to vacuum. Eric, you tidy up this basement. A pie! I gotta make a pie!" Mom said frantically going around the basement and heading upstairs.
"Wow. The President's coming." Eric said out loud.
"You know what we should do?" Kelso asked. "That door thing again!" Kelso said pointing to the doors.
