As soon as their lips touched, it was like the world completely fell away, as if they were in their own reality where nothing else existed. It wasn't anything fiery by any means, more of just lips on lips, both males being in shock that Yunho had even decided to kiss Mingi in the first place.

It would have looked awkward from another person's perspective, but to them, it was soft and warm, engulfing them both within a comfort neither of them knew existed, like a fluffy blanket draped over them on a cold winter night.

Yunho pulled away, hand resting below Mingi's ear, thumb caressing his cheek gently. He couldn't help but smile. Though they were still on the floor of the kitchen, it didn't seem to bother either of them in the slightest bit.

Mingi stared back up at Yunho, limbs feeling like absolute jelly. His heart felt like it was running a marathon, beating at what felt like a million miles per second. He noticed the small sparkles in Yunho's soft brown eyes, how they twinkled in absolute awe as he looked down at Mingi. It wasn't something you could see from far away, but up close, it was like looking in a telescope showing off the night stars.

Nine out of ten times, Yunho's eyes were dull, full of boredom, his attention was never really ever able to focus on anything for long amounts of time. But when it came to something he genuinely liked, such as puppies, a picture of his mother, or something as simple as his dad's ramen, his eyes sparkled like every entity in the galaxy lived in them.

Now, here he was, looking at a familiar face like that.

That's when it finally hit Mingi like a truck.

Mingi was something, no somebody, Yunho loved.

He spaced out for a second as he came to the realization, eyes going wide as they began spilling tears yet again. Though, this time, those were not the tears of woeful suffering. No, they were the tears of his battered and hopeless soul finally fixing itself.

Mingi had no idea what possessed him because next thing he knew, his hands were grabbing at Yunho's shirt, harshly pulling him downwards before he brought him in for a kiss yet again.

Yunho had no time to react as he felt Mingi's tongue at the seam of his mouth, practically begging him for entrance, which he gladly granted.

Mingi somehow had managed to pin Yunho on the floor beneath him, continuing to kiss him, refusing to pull away, unless if it wasn't to catch his breath for a brief second. Mingi was addicted to the feeling of Yunho's lips, as if it were the most intoxicating alcohol he had ever placed his lips upon. This is what he had wanted for so long and now, he finally had it after almost seven years of lonesome suffering.

Yunho held Mingi close, hands resting on his waist. He couldn't believe what was happening right now, as if he were walking on air. He could have sworn just days ago, Mingi wanted to put his head on a stake. It was absolute magic, how Yunho's lips connected with Mingi's and he couldn't help but let out a shaky breath of pleasure, which for some reason, seemed to drive Mingi over the edge.

The sensations were completely overwhelming for the two, their minds both going wild for each other, like they were the last people on the planet.

It wasn't until they both heard the front door open that they were finally transported back into reality.

"Hey, it looks like I forgot my ph-" Yunho's dad paused, shutting himself up completely as he pursed his lips together, eyes going wide. There was his son, making out with his childhood friend on his kitchen floor.

Yunho and Mingi both froze instantly, the blood in their veins running.

"Oh." Yunho's dad muttered, scratching the back of his neck.
