"Ah it looks lovely on you!"

The peafowl claps her feathers as she stares up at the wolf. He awkwardly sets his hands on his belt as the female compliments him. She mentions that wolves particularly look good in formal wear.

He's wearing a black button up tucked into a pair light gray slacks, the peafowl had suggested to roll the hem of his sleeves and pants up. She had complimented that canines have thinner ankles and wrists.

"It makes canines look slender in anything they wear! Felines, however, have firm muscles which formal attire would hide so they're more suited for clothes that expose their bodies."

Legosi hums and turns to the mirror in the store he's in, when he had returned home one evening from work Sebun had greeted him with a letter outside her door. "Who's Yafya?" She had asked while brushing her cotton balled fur. Legosi had shrugged and ripped the envelope open to find an invitation for a dinner meeting.

Sebun had insisted on him not going, because...well the wolf wasn't really about to go to some strange mans house for dinner was he??

Yet, here he was getting fitted for an outfit for the dinner the following day. Sebun had accompanied him hoping to change his mind.

But she wasn't able to get too far as everything was neatly packed into a shopping bag, Sebun and Legosi walked out the store. As they walked the streets of the bustling city center Sebun looks up at the young boy beside her. "Legosi are you sure you still want to go through with this?" The wolf nodded as they crossed the street. She sighs and they head inside the a grooming parlor. Before they go in Legosi himself is a little confused as to why they're here. "Your fur needs a trim. I can't convince you but I sure as hell won't let you go there looking like a mutt. No offense."

Legosi doesn't take any offense, thankfully the parlor isn't full and he's sat down right away. "Just a trim. He has a special dinner." Sebun tells the groomer, the feline nods and holds Legosi's face in their paws. They go off to get their brushes and scissors and so Sebun takes this opportunity to ask for the letter to give it another look over.

"Oh yea sure.." he pulls it out from his pocket, neatly folded she extends it open.

Legosi watches from the spinning chair, her eyes roll quickly over the page. "Has your grandfather ever mentioned this man? Why only just invite you if they were close friends?" She asks as she re-reads the page again, the wolf only shrugs as he loses himself in his own thoughts. The name on the letter is very familiar and for some reason he cannot seem to understand why. He tries to search in his head why that may be.

Sebun keeps mumbling questions about her worries, he tries his best to reassure her. The groomer returns and starts their work, through the mirror her big eyes look up to Legosi's small irises she sighs and folds the paper back into its place. "Alright I'll trust you. Just please be aware of your surroundings. You may be a predator but honestly."

The wolf smiles back at her through their reflection. "I'll be just fine."

"Yea, yea."

It doesn't take long for the trim, Sebun pays for the service and tells Legosi not to worry about it. The two of them realize that the sun is setting now so Legosi and her head back to their apartment building. She follows him into his room and lazily sits herself on top of his unmade futon. "Remind me to get you a phone." She says tapping away at hers. Legosi takes out his clothes and lays them out across his small table in the middle of the room. He finally managed to save enough to buy one and threw out the cardboard boxes he'd use.
