Chapter 3 - My ex sat with me even though he had a choice

When I woke up this morning I felt so tired, which meant I slept in late, which meant it was a Saturday, or so I thought.

'Today's Saturday? But the day before yesterday was a Saturday?'

'Oh shit'

I sat up rubbing my face an blinking blearily. Sunlight was streaming through the window and filling the entire room. I took a look at my phone it was 8:37 AM.

Holy crap.

I rushed to the washroom, took less than 3 minuted to get ready and run downstairs.

"Mom, where's that jerk?" I asked looking for my elder brother who did not bother waking me up although we had to go to the same direction.

"He's your elder brother Ara, you should respect him okay!" My mom replied. I had no time to argue with her. I was super late.

"He didn't wake you up although both of you had to go to the same place, again? I'll drop you, hurry up," my dad said. He's a live savior.

"Thanks dad I love you byeeeeee." I said as I get out of the car and run towards my building. I took a look at my watch, 8:56. 4 minutes and I would've gotten detention.

I ran as fast as my feet could take me. Normally I am extremely slow and start having asthma attack after just 3 minutes of running even though I don't have asthma.

I walked to my first class which was Trigonomerty. By the time I reached the class, I was barely breathing.

I enter the class and sit in my seat.

"I was so late", I said to Yura, finally breathing like a normal human being.

"Thank god you made it on time, or else you would have had detention", she said. I would definitely fail if I got a detention.

I have no idea what we were studying because I couldn't understand more than half of what the teacher was even saying. Just when my brain was trying to process, something hit me on the head and fell on the floor. I knew exactly who it was because no one else would want to annoy the hell out of me.

I turned around and my eyes landed on Jungkook's who was grinning at me. He pointed at the paper and mouths 'read it'. I pick up the paper and open it.

The earth's atmosphere is 21% oxygen and you still take my breath away. *wink*

I wanted to take the calculator in front of me and throw it on his face for this but I couldn't do that. I sighed and picked up my pen to reply. I rolled the paper down to Jungkook. I watched him read it, his smile widens as if he was expecting the reply.

I wouldn't be panting after running if I wasn't short of breath you dumbass!

He looked at me and saw me looking at him. He then rolled another paper and passed it.

Stop staring at me, I know I'm hot *wink*

I turned around to give him a disgusted look, but then something else caught my attention. From the corner of the class, which was the last bench of the first row, Kim Yugyeom was paying a lot of attention to what I was doing.

I looked at Jungkook and he winked at my direction. My face went red from embarrassment and I threw the paper ball towards Jungkook's direction.

The bell rang, I waved at Yura and quickly got up, before I could move someone grabbed my shoulder, making me jerk backwards. "Ugh! What now?!"

"What's your next class? Can you please tell me where mine is?" He asked. Not many students were paying attention to us, most of them were already out of the class and those who were still inside were busy with their own things.

"There are other kids in this class you know?" I said. I realized that we were being watched by Yugyeom. I rolled my eyes and looked at Jungkook's schedule.

"I'll get going", Yura said waving at me, giving me a fighting signal. I wave back and she leaves for her class.

"Why in the world do we have the same class! And why are our schedule almost the same, like what the hell?" I whined while looking at our schedule which was almost the same.

"This is destiny", he said while winking and like the other times I give him a disgusted look.

"There are many other students with the same schedule as yours you know", I said.

"I don't know anybody else here", he said and I sighed.

I then accidentally had an eye contact with Yugyeom, he got up and left.

"Ugh! Whatever, just follow me", I said even though I hated this.

"Yessirrrr", he replied and followed me to our next class.

The class went by pretty quickly aside from the kicking from my part; I mean it's his fault for annoying me. The bell rang and it was the lunch break. I didn't run because he was sitting right beside me so I couldn't escape even if I ran as fast as I could.

I made my way to the cafeteria, not caring if he was following me or not because that time I had only one thing on my mind, revenge for this morning.

I reached the cafeteria and see Yura waiting for me. I bought my food and placed it across her.

I walked to the end of the cafeteria.

"Yah! Kim Taehyung, you brat!" I shouted as I reached close to the table where he was sitting. The cafeteria was pretty noisy and people were too busy with their own stuffs.

Kim Taehyung, is my elder brother by 3 years. He joined school a year late, and I joined a year early, so he's my senior by just a year in college.

"Yah!" I punched him on his arms.

"Ouch!" He yelped. Before I could punch him again, he was blocking himself.

"Why the hell did you not wake-

I realized that his friends were staring at the both of us. They know I'm his sister and they're pretty nice to me but I feel comfortable sitting alone with Yura.

"Yah! Let's talk when we get home, I'll buy you cake on our way back", he said.

"You better", I replied and he showed me peace sign and a heart from his fingers before I left. He always does that, whenever he pisses me off, he buys me something to eat on our way back home.

I returned back to my seat. There were a lot of people looking for seats. I could already guess that because of the repairing work, some of the tables were taken out of canteen. Even though some of the tables were taken out, there were plenty of seats empty, one of which was of our table, it was just the two of us until Jungkook decided to join. He looked at me and smirked which made me roll my eyes.

"Just eat", I said.

"Yah, let's go there, I think we have a seat there", I didn't even bother to look at who it was.

"Let's just sit here", I looked up, I knew who that voice belonged to. Yura looked at me confused and worried at the same time.

Kim Yugyeom and Park Jinyoung were standing in front of our table.

They sat down without even asking us. Yugyeom sat beside Jungkook and Jinyoung sat beside him.

My ex sat with with me even though he had the choice not to.

What the hell is even going on in my life?!
