Chapter 2: Hail's Beginning

Hail's POV
I had just hatched for my egg and was looking for my mommy and daddy. I was walking around the house when I found a flareon in the kitchen. I went to her and she was confused until she saw the egg that was cracked open. I asked if she was my mommy and she said yes and then called my dad(a shiny sylveon) over. He came and saw me. I walked over and hugged him and hugged me back. He then said I would need a name. I start to think when dad then thought of the name Hail. I liked my new name. Me and dad started getting hungry so mom went to the kitchen to make food for us. I was on the couch laying down when I heard a crack in the corner where the eggs were. I look at the corner I saw one of my siblings were hatching. I called my mom and dad over and continued to watch the hatching. An eevee like me came out of the egg. My mom and dad walked over to her and hugged her and then I soon joined. Mom told me I now had a little sister. Me and my sister were extremely happy. Mom then say my sister's name was Nature. She liked that name a lot and started jumping around excitedly. Our mom also said today was our birthday and on this day every year we would celebrate it. Me and my sister got even more excited as our mom went back to making food so Nature and I jumped on the couch and started to lay there and talk. Mom finally called us for dinner and we both went to eat and after we were done we went to our rooms to sleep. I threw myself onto my bed. I slowly started to drift asleep. I was dreaming when I heard a voice trying to wake me up. When I opened my eyes it was my mom telling us that we needed to get out of the house. Dad and Nature came into my room telling me the same thing. As everyone was talking I started to smell smoke from downstairs. I looked downstairs to see a wild steelix was using flamethrower to burn down the house. I told mom and dad and then they told me to take care of my siblings and told me to take the egg and Nature and run as far as possible. Nature and I started to cry because we didn't want to leave mom and dad to fight alone but we obeyed. Nature and I ran out of the house with the egg on my back. We turned around to see the house. We were watching when the house burned down. Me and my sister started to cry even more because of the fact our parents could be dead but we still continue to run. Eventually we found a cave that was empty so we went in and rested in there. Nature and I decided to make the cave our new home. I then decided to make a promise to mom and dad and that promise was I would protect my siblings with my life.
