CHAPTER 16

Y/N'S POV
-Time skip a week later-

I'm currently waiting for my mother to come and pick me up from hospital. I'll be able to stay at home, but I still can't do any movement at all... We could say that I'm delicated now.

-Mom: Y/N! Let me help you with that... (grabs your little bag)
-Y/N: Mom, I can carry it... Don't worry... (smiles and gets inside the car)
-Mom: I still don't understand how did you do it to slip at the stairs... (sighs) You must pay more attention...
-Y/N: I'm sorry, I'll be more careful from now on... (smiles)

Guess that she really believed the stairs thing. I mean, I couldn't tell her that another student hit me because we both would have gotten in trouble.

-Mom: Y/N...
-Y/N: Hmmm?
-Mom: I have received an offer to work, but it is not in Seoul...
-Y/N: What?
-Mom: I would need to move to Daegu, its is a nice offer because they pay a big amount and I wouldn't need to work that many hours... (sighs) I would be able to spend more time at home, with you...
-Y/N: But mom, I'm still studying... And, well... I wouldn't like to move, I have everything here.
-Mom: I know, that's why I thought that you could start living by yourself if you wanted to stay here... I don't really like that idea, but those are the only options... You still have two weeks to think about it. Talk with Daenam and so, and when you feel like you have it clear, then tell me something, okay? (smiles and caress your face) I know that this is a delicated moment, but I needed to tell you...
-Y/N: It's okay mom... I'll think about it carefully (smiles) I'm 21 years old, I'll be fine if I decide to live by myself...
-Mom: (smiles and parks the car) We are here... Do you need any help?
-Y/N: No, no... I can do it by myself (smiles and exits the car)

Well, this will make it really difficult... If I decide to move to Daegu, I would need to leave "From Shadows" and forget about confessing to Chaer... I mean, it would be really hurtful... What should I do?

I need to talk with her anyway... I could stay here as well. But I have never lived by myself... Would I actually be okay on my own? I need to head the fan base and study hard.

How the hell would I do it to gain money and to manage the house stuff? When would I do chores, cook and all of that? I need to think about it properly...

*Calls Chaeryeong*

Chaeryeong: Yeah? Y/N, are you already at home?
Me: Yeah, I just arrived... I still can't move too much. But at least I'm at home... (chuckles)
Chaeryeong: (sighs in relief) Cool, I was worried... Do you think that I could visit you?
Me: I can't go out yet, the doctor said I should remain at home-
Chaeryeong: I'll go to your house (smiles) There's no problem.
Me: (chuckles) Okay, I have something to tell you... So, I'll be waiting for you.
Chaeryeong: Yeah! See you later Y/N~ (hangs up)

Great, I'll take the chance to tell Chaeryeong about the possibility of my moving to Daegu.

CHAERYEONG'S POV
I rush to the bathroom and take a quick shower. I then run to my room and panic when I start doubting about what should I wear... Gosh, today might be an important day... I need to look really really good.

-Chaeryeong: Ah... What do I do?
-Lia: (walking by) What happens?
-Chaeryeong: I'll visit Y/N and I don't know what to wear... (pouts) Can you help me?
-Lia: (chuckles) Of course... Let's see...

She helps me to choose the outfit, and then she makes my hair and make up. Now it just rests telling to Yeji unnie that I won't be here today.

-Chaeryeong: Unnie, I'll be visiting Y/N, okay? (smiles) I'll be at his house...
-Yeji: Again Y/N? (smirks)
-Chaeryeong: He said he has something to tell me... I-I can't ignore him... (smiles and leaves)

Y/N'S POV
I'm laying on my bed while watching Netflix, when suddenly my mom yells from downstairs that I have visit. It must be her... I'll try to be soft and not to say it too sudden...

-Chaeryeong: (knocks at your room door) Y/N?
-Y/N: You can come in (smiles) Hey there Chae... (waves)
-Chaeryeong: (enters slowly)
-Y/N: What happens? I don't bite... (chuckles)
-Chaeryeong: It's just that... Its the first time I enter this room. I mean, as a grown up woman... (smiles embarrassed)
-Y/N: Oh, uh... Does it look weird or something?
-Chaeryeong: No, it's just different of how I imagined it... (chuckles) I thought it would be a mess and that it wouldn't smell that nice...
-Y/N: (complains) Girls should stop believing in those kind of myths! We are not messy... At least, not all of us...
-Chaeryeong: (chuckles) Okay, okay, I apologise...
-Y/N: (pats a space on your bed) Do you want to take a seat?
-Chaeryeong: (slightly blushed) Y-Yeah... (sits next to you) How are you feeling? Does it hurt?
-Y/N: A little bit... But it's okay, I'm much better (chuckles)
-Chaeryeong: I see... (smiles) I'm glad...
-Y/N: (looks straight at her)
-Chaeryeong: (blushes) S-So... What's what you need to tell me?
-Y/N: I don't know how to tell you this... Uhm... My mother has received an offer to work in Daegu.
-Chaeryeong: Wait... (processing it gasps)
-Y/N: I'm really sorry about saying it so sudden...
-Chaeryeong: (thinking) It was not a confession! Why the hell did I think that he would confess or something like that?!
