three.
day two

THE NEXT DAY, THE FOUR ARRIVED AT SOOBIN'S DOORSTEP. Beomgyu pressed the doorbell and Soobin hurriedly rushed over to see if it was them. Upon seeing their faces, a wide grin appeared his lips and he happily opened the door for them.

"You all came early. I expected to see you after lunch," he said as he opened the door wider for them to come inside.

"We brought cookies by the way," Beomgyu announced. They all made themselves comfortable inside and sat on the couch in front of the television.

"This place looks really cozy," Hueningkai commented as he looked at the surroundings of the house. "Yeah, I didn't think you'd be the type to clean," Yeonjun commented.

"It's a new house so...yeah, it's bound to be clean," Soobin answered, however, feeling a bit tense. He shook the feeling off and concluded that it must have been due to the feeling of people entering his new house for the first time since he wasn't used to it.

"So what do you all want to do first?" Soobin asked.

Taehyun hummed, "Maybe some movies?" He suggested.

"Do you have any movies or DVDs we can play?" Beomgyu asked Soobin. Soobin walked over to the drawer under the television set and grabbed a box full of DVDs.

"I don't have much but I guess you can choose from here." He handed them the box for them to choose from a variety of movies he owned.

Yeonjun went through the DVDs and sighed. "Ugh, lame."

Soobin bit his lip as he felt a bit hurt from the comment, knowing that some of those movies in the box where his all-time favorites. He was very sensitive especially from their recent fights and feared that one wrong move could result in them arguing once again. Taehyun noticed and looked at Yeonjun who had a poker face on.

"How about the infinity war movie?" Taehyun suggested, remembering that Soobin liked that movie before.

"Nah, let's go with the parasite," Beomgyu ignored him.

"Would you all like some snacks-"

"Come on, play the movie already. I can't wait!" Yeonjun interrupted Soobin, making him feel a bit annoyed. There was no more space on the couch so both Soobin and Taehyun had to sit on the floor.

The movie started and both Soobin, as well as Taehyun, didn't feel interested to watch the whole movie. Every time they tried to voice out their opinions, both would be interrupted by the others, making them feel left out. Hueningkai merely watched the quarrel grow little by little but he couldn't do anything about it.

The movie ended and the three - Yeonjun, Beomgyu, and Hueningkai stood up to stretch their bodies. Meanwhile, Soobin and Taehyun were still on the floor, in deep thought.

Hueningkai who noticed the arising tension between them tried to lighten up the atmosphere. "How about we take a selfie to remember?" he suggested.

"Cool," Yeonjun answered. Hueningkai whipped out his phone and started taking a selfie with the energetic Beomgyu and Yeonjun first.

Then he moved to Soobin and Taehyun who were still on the floor. They didn't look at the camera, feeling disinterested and not in the mood. Hueningkai nudged them lightly without the other two seeing. "Are you two okay?" He asked in a whisper.

They didn't answer.

He sighed before moving forward to take the picture of them all in one frame. Once it was completed, they moved on to another movie and it went on like this for another hour. Soobin shared a look with Taehyun before standing up.

"I'm gonna prepare lunch," he announced.

Taehyun stood up as well and followed Soobin. "I'm going to help him set the table."

The other two paid no attention to them, lost in their own conversations while laughing to themselves. Hueningkai who was settled between Beomgyu and Yeonjun on the couch noticed them looking at the kitchen when the other two disappeared.

He stood up and pretended to look around the house as he walked over to the door, secretly analyzing their actions from the corner of his eye. He looked at them for a brief moment who continued talking to each other about random topics.

He didn't miss the way they glanced at the kitchen.

And he certainly didn't miss the way they grinned at each other.

But there was something wrong.
