We had made it home. After a slightly longer walk, we finally made it. I guess the day at school was good, apart from the fact that I found my soulmate. But I still ask Myself the same question...why did it have to be him? A stubborn, well I have no room to speak there cause I’m an asshole too, rude and explosive shit. Yeah, thanks universe.

I walked into my house and took my shoes off. I waited for Gohan and Lita to do the same before heading up to my room.

“Hey kids!” Our mother yelled from the kitchen. “How was it? Tell me!” She said wiping her hands on her apron and walking up to us.

Gohan walked up to her.

“It was great mom! That school is awesome!” He said with a huge smile on his face. Lita agreed with Gohan as my mother looked at her.

“Y tú Gaby? How was it?” (And you Gaby) I looked up at her with my same bitch face.

“I’ll tell you later...” I said tiredly. She nodded in concern as I walked up to my room.
...

I opened the door and threw my bag beside my nightstand. I headed for my dresser and opened the doors to it. I pulled out a pair of grey pants and an oversized shirt. I threw them on my bed and began to take off my school uniform.

I walked around my room while doing that just to let some energy out. By the time I got to my side of the bed, I stubbed my toe on something from under it, causing me to flinch.

“Ow, shit!” I said as I stepped back. I held my foot. “The fuck is under there,” I said as I looked under the bed from a distance.

A box corner was sticking out. I tilted my head in confusion and limped a bit to the bed. I got on my knees and then looked under my bed.

A medium, yellow box got my attention. The boxes corner was sticking out from the side of my bed. I squinted my eyes and grabbed it. I pulled it out and looked at the label on the front

‘Memories’

Memories my ass, what the fuck was this. I set the box onto my bed. For some reason, I had a feeling that whatever was in here, was important. I was careful with this box for some reason as if something fragile were to be in it. Something that I wouldn’t want to break.

I took the cardboard lid off of it. My eyes widened. There were several small discs, small baby clothing, and pictures in the box, then a small cassette. The discs looked like they came out of a camera, an old one. The pictures were all turned to one side so that the image could not be seen. And then the clothing, it looked familiar.

And the cassette, the cassette was the one that got me the most. It had the word “News” written on it with black marker. I looked over at my DVD player on my tv stand and then back at the box. I was immediately going to play this after I changed.

...

I finally was able to put on my other knee-high sock. I sighed in relief and then looked over at the yellow box sitting next to me. I squinted my eyes and then grabbed it. I walked up to my small tv stand and sat on the ground in front of it. I set the box on the ground and picked up the discs. I looked at them.

The front of them was a shiny, purple color and the back was what a normal cds back would look like. I picked up the very top disc and grabbed my remote from the stand.

I turned the tv on and changed the input to HDMI 1. A black screen showed up after I chose that setting. I put the remote down next to me and then turned my DVD player on. It had one side that was meant for CD’s, and another side for cassette tapes.
