Pt. 2

~The day before the exam~
Gaby’s POV

“MASENKO HA!”

“HEY, THAT’S MY MOVE!”

“CONCENTRATE!”

It’s been 2 days since Tio Goku has told us about UA. It’s been on with constant attacks, hits, and blasts. We were currently at Tio Goku’s house training. Tomorrow was the day, we would get the chance to get into UA. I shot a blast at my uncle which he easily dodged making me grit my teeth. I charged at him again, but with a different attack.

“KA.” I positioned my hands.

“ME.” I began to slowly separate my feet.

“HA.” My uncle looked at me with a smirk as he went Super Saiyan again.

“ME.” Blue light emitted from my palms. Tio got into his blocking position. I smirked.

“HAAAA!” I pushed my hands outwards as the light shot itself at my uncle at a fast pace. His eyes widened and he covered his face with his arms. I felt my legs fail me and then I began to fall to the ground, panting. Everyone stopped flying and came down with me. Lita ran up to me.

“Gaby, this is the third time. You need to stop overusing your quirk.” She said as my hands twitched. She pressed the silver button on my bracelet, sending shockwaves down my body. I flinched at the sudden pain. My twitching stopped and my breathing was slowly going back to normal. Tio walked up to me with his hands on his hips.

“She’s right, Gabs. You need to control how much you use your quirk.” I looked up at him.

“That’s easy for you to say, you’re the one who has been fighting for a long time now. You know how to control every form of Super Saiyan you have.” I said as I wiped the blood from my mouth. As I put my hand down, I glanced at my soulmate tattoo. The words seemed to shimmer when I looked at them. I furrowed my brows and then looked down at the grass. I grabbed ahold of it.

I looked up as I heard footsteps. Gohan came out of Tio’s house with a smile on his face.

“Tia ChiChi just made us something to eat!” He said pointing at the house and jumping around. I giggled and began to get up. My sides burned from the pain of fighting so much. I gritted my teeth and held my sides as I got up, grabbing Lita’s attention. She ran up to me and wrapped my arm around her shoulders so I could balance myself. I thanked her as we walked into Tio’s house.

*2 hours later*

We made it back home before it got dark. As we walked into the house, our attention was caught by our mother on the couch, sound asleep with the TV still on. I chuckled and walked up to her as Gohan went and turned off the TV. I grabbed the blanket from the other couch and covered my mother's warm body up. I kissed her forehead as Lita waited for me by the stairs. I walked upstairs to my sister's bedroom and opened the door slightly. Her small body was on the bed sleeping as drool came out of her mouth. I chuckled and shut the door.

I walked into my room, shutting the door behind me. I threw myself onto my bed and grabbed my phone from my nightstand. I unlocked it and opened Instagram. I scrolled through pictures of couples which made me smile. Yet I still didn’t feel happy or comfortable about the whole soulmate thing...especially with the words on my hip.

I clicked my tongue and turned off my phone. I set it on my nightstand as I plugged the charger in. I got up and began to take off my clothes. I walked up to my dresser and pulled out some shorts and a hoodie. I began to change into them and didn’t even manage to put on a shirt. After that, I threw myself back onto my bed and got into the covers. I stared up at the ceiling for a couple of minutes.

“Hëy Gåby.” I closed my eyes.

“Hey, 5-D.”

“Yøu excïtėd før tømmorröw?”

“Eh, I just hope I’ll make it in.”

“Dön’t wørrÿ, yøułl måkë ït ïn.” I gave a small smile to her comment.

“I håvė tø gö kïd, ï łovė yøu.”

“I love you too, 5-D”

And with that, her voice vanished from my head. I laid on my side and stared at the door.

“Tomorrow is going to be a hell of I ride.” I thought and then fell asleep.
