Pt. 10

Gohan’s POV

”Wahhh! It’s so hottt!” I said as I threw myself onto the couch. I had changed into a dark blue T-Shirt and black shorts. I laid there as I closed my eyes and my body faced the ceiling. My mouth was open as drool slowly came out. I shut my mouth quickly.

”Gohannnn! Is there any more ice cream?” Lita said as she walked down the last steps and then threw herself onto the ground. I moved my head to face her.

”I think so...god it’s so hot here. Whyyyy!” I whined.

”I don’t know, but I hope ice cream can cool us down...you think Gaby wants some? You know, after she figured out....” I looked at her and then sat up.

”She should. I’ll go check on her.” She nodded and got up from the ground. I stood up and began to walk upstairs. I walked through the slightly long hallway to reach Gaby’s room. I stopped at her door.

I raised my hand and then knocked on the door.

No answer.

I knocked again.

Nothing.

I held onto her door handle and pushed it down. I opened the door slowly.

”Gaby you-“

”That’s it Gohan! You got it, come on!”
I stopped and stared at Gaby’s TV.

“Papi look! I’m flying! Thanks Mr. Piccolo!”

“Yeah, no problem kid” I recognized that voice. I walked into Gaby’s room. I stood there and stared. The tv showed me, well me smaller. I was flying around in the air with Piccolo.

“Look! Gaby’s about to go up there!” I heard a voice that sounded like my mother’s yell. The angle moved down to show Gaby. She was squeezing her eyes shut as a clear aura surrounded her small body. She slowly began to fly up into the air. Her eyes widened.

”I’m doing it, I’m doing it!”

She came up to the level that Piccolo and I were at. When she got there, we both began doing flips in the air.

I walked up to Gaby and sat down on the ground next to her. I put my hands on the ground and sat on my legs.

Gaby crawled up to the DVD Player and pressed the eject button. She took out the small disc that was inside of the tray. She then put another disc in there. She pressed the eject button again and the tray slid back into the DVD player.

She sat back and hugged her legs up to her chest. She scooted closer to me and leaned her head on my shoulder. The disc began to play a video.

”Is it on? Hey, it’s working!” I heard my Tia ChiChi’s dad say. He was the one recording. He flipped the camera around to show Me and Gaby sitting in front of a table with a bunch of gifts surrounding us. My aunt and uncle, along with mom and dad, sat on the other side of the table.

”Uh, Tia? Why are we here?”

“You guys were in that time chamber for what? One year?” Gaby and I raised a brow.

”Which means while in there you guys turned 11. So we threw you guys a small party!” Gaby and I looked at each other.

”But what about Li-“ Gaby was interrupted by Lita.

”I’ll be alright, this is basically for you guys since you two are the ones that are gonna be fighting Cell the most, we wanted to make this special for you.” She said with a smile on her face. It then faded away.

”You know, my parents said that if I ever become a hero...that I should do it for them. And now that we’ll be fighting a villain together...it feels like I did what they wanted me to. I became a h-hero for them.” Lita began crying. Me and Gaby instantly got up and hugged her. That caused her to laugh. She smiled.
