Natsu's POV

After Lucy left to her next class I went to mine and sat next to Gray.

"So did you find her?"

"W...what do you mean? I went to the bathroom" I laughed nervously.

"Flame brain you can't trick me I know you went to look for her."

"Fine fine you caught me."

Gray started laughing. "What's so funny?"

"I just never seen you this interested in a girl that isn't Lisanna."

I started to blush. "Shut up, besides I don't love Lisanna anymore."

"I know I know, did you know she's friends with Lucy?"

"WHAT FOREAL!?" I was surprised I never seen them together.

"Yeah I seen them once together but I don't think Lisanna is actually friends with her cause she wants to."

"What do you mean?" I was confused Lisanna likes everyone and enjoys making friends.

"Lucy gave Lisanna some papers and then she just ran away leaving Lucy behind." Gray said with his hand on his chin.

"I'm going to ask her later."

"Good idea. Do you want to come over tonight?"

"I can't I have to stay with my sister tonight because of my dad."

"She can come too, I don't want her to feel unsafe all alone. However I don't want you to get hurt either if your dad doesn't let you don't come."

"Yeah thanks ice princess"

Gray puts up the middle finger towards me.

After school

"Bye ice princess"

"Yeah yeah whatever flame brain" he said waving while walking away.

I had to go pick up Wendy from school since dad never wants to. I had to leave early this morning, I hope Wendy was alright.

~10 mins later~

"Oí, Wendy!" I waved so she can spot me.

"Onii-chan!" she ran up and hugged me.

"How was your day? No boy talked to you right?" I said mocking her.

"Onii-chan your so annoying."

"Wow your so mean." I took a closer look at her face and realized she had a patch on her cheek. "What happened to your face Wendy." I had an idea on what might have happened...dad might've hit her again.

"....dad..." she was hesitating to say it.

"I'm sorry Wendy for leaving you alone." I'm so tired of dad hurting Wendy.

"It's ok i'm fine now, let's go home" she started walking I followed behind.

As we got closer to our house I was honestly scared. My mom died when we were young due to an illness and my dad began to change. He was abusive, I always protected Wendy from the pain I didn't want him hitting her so I took the hits. In the end he always found a way to hurt her. I walked up the steps and opened the door. Our dad was waiting for us already.

"Where were you this morning!" of course he starts yelling.

"I told you yesterday I had to leave early to study"

"Don't fucking talk to me like that!" He lifted up his hand.

"Dad stop don't hurt him!" she got in front of me and got hit again.

"STOP she's only 14 stop hurting she! She didn't do anything wrong."

"You piece of shit" He began to hit me over and over again. I didn't mind as long as Wendy was ok I'm ok. Protecting my little sister is my priority.

"Onii-chan..." Wendy started crying.

"Its ok wendy Im ok" I gave her a warm smile. Dad stopped hitting me.

"Your both disappoints" He kicked me one last time. "Next time you won't be able to protect her." He walked away"

He was wrong I will do anything in my power to protect my little sister no matter what. I got up slowly.

"Onii-chan your injured, go sit down I'll bring the first aid kit" I sat on the couch.

One day one day when I turn 18 I'll move away from him and take Wendy with me. He won't hurt us anymore I promise  Wendy...
