I woke up with Jeff still fast asleep and then I had a thought.
'If were camping in a field then there must be a farm nearby. With food and water.'
I crawled out of the tent with my partially healed body and stood up facing the sun.
I looked over the fields to see if there was any sign of a farmhouse, I had a feeling on which way to go but I can't set off without Jeff, mainly because my sense of direction is shockingly bad, so if I got lost I would be fucked.
I glanced over to the tree and saw that there was a small pile of ash and a load of fur.
'Did Jeff- He ate food with out me, what the fuck.'
I heard a groan coming from the tent and Jeff popped his head out of the entrance.
"I see that the princess got his beauty sleep~"
"Whatever."
'Still just as grumpy though.'
"So what are we going to do, we just gonna stay here?"
"No, I was thinking-"
"OMG YOU WERE THINKING Y/N, I'm impressed."
I turned around and slapped him straight across the face.
"Ok sorry, carry on"
"So, I was thinking if we are in the middle of some fields that means that there must be a farmer, which means a farm."
"Ok sure, but how do we get to the farm house that 'might' exist?"
"T-that I'm still working on." I turned around and looked over the fields.
"Hey Jeff"
"Hmm?"
"Sorry about yesterday." I heard him sigh and stand next to me.
"No, it's alright I should be the one apologising, I - I was just so sick of no one ever listening to me."
"I know the feeling"
"Wait, how are you walking 'normally'"
"Well I-uhhh, I kinda used some magic." I heard Jeff sigh and look at me, he didnt look too angry.
"Right, ok, at least your better." He then knelt down on the floor and felt it. He shuffled forward a bit and lifted himself up off the ground.
"This way."
"H-How do you know that, YOU TOUCHED THE FLOOR FOR TWO SECONDS!?!"
He swiftly grabbed my hand and placed it down in the floor, he was leaning part of his body over my back. I was blushing at the sudden change.
He spoke quietly.
"You feel the ground, yes?"
"Yeah.......?"
"Feel the vibrations."
I focused harder on the ground and I felt small vibrations coming from the East.
"T-thats so cool, I didnt know you could do that."
"When your stalking someone and lose sight of them, it really helps. If you get really good at it you can tell who they are by the specific vibrations."
"Wow"
That's all I could say, this man is full of tricks.
I stood up along with him.
"Do you know what those vibrations are?"
"They are most likely from a combine harvester or a tractor of some sort. Due to the fact that there are no people and foot steps can't carry over long distances."
We headed off towards the East. We were hoping to be able to get some where today.

IT IS NO WHERE NEAR DONE.
This book will not be published on here, if I ever get it done I want it to be published properly.
Though I might do a different X reader based around it.
