Chapter: 15

Our faces were inches away from each other

So close where we almost..

"I know there's something wrong, tell me." Jungkook said in a soft voice.

"What the hell?" I pushed him away from me.

I don't understand why I got mad. I thought he was gonna kiss-

I snapped back to my senses and locked eyes with Jungkook. He looked so surprised..

"Forget it, im going upstairs." he said.

I sighed, what was i thinking? did I really expect him to kiss me? Whatever.

I was headed to the kitchen when..

"Oh I almost forgot, our parents are coming over tomorrow--"

"Cook something nice" he added.

I nodded, went to the kitchen and grabbed myself a glass of water.

I need to check on Jimin and tell him why I ran off.

Y/n:
Jimin? Are you there?

I wanted to say sorry for leaving you without an explanation.

I want to apologise in person

is it okay if you and I get coffee tomorrow? so you know.. we can talk everything out. :)

I put my phone down the kitchen table and went upstairs. I could really use a hot shower right now.

Jungkook's Pov:

The thought of Y/n didn't leave my mind. I had to know what was going on.

Maybe she and Jimin broke up--

That would be great, our parents can't find out about their relationship.

And most importantly, they must not find out about my relationship with Hyuna--

Especially my dad. The only reason why I agreed to this whole arranged marriage in the first place is to be the CEO of my dad's company.

I heared the bathroom door shut and the shower started running--

I was starving so I got up from the bed and went downstairs to eat the food that Y/n had bought.

I'm in the kitchen and as I opened the fridge I heared a notification. my phone was charging upstairs, maybe it's Y/n's phone?

I looked around the kitchen and saw her phone on the table lighting up.

I picked up her phone and saw that Jimin had messaged her.

"6 Messages from Jimin: hey I just.."

He just what? I was curious so I opened her phone.

"She doesn't have a password? how dumb." I whispered and chuckled.

I opened Jimin's message.

Jimin:
hey I just got home and my
phone died so I didn't see your message

it's fine Y/n and yeah sure let's talk about this tomorrow

after we drink coffee, do you maybe want to watch a movie after? the movie is called

fuck off

lights off* sorry it autocorrected to fuck off hahaha but yeah I heard it's a great movie

and it's horror, you're favorite :)

Talk about what? hmm maybe they had a fight?

If they will talk about it, then maybe they will get back together-- I can't let that happen.

I'll just delete Jimin's messages so Y/n won't see them.

I heard the bathroom door open,Y/n must be done showering--I have to hurry.

Selected message:
Jimin:
hey I just got home and my
phone died so I didn't see your message

Are you sure you want to delete this?

yes                      no

I deleted most of the messages except for one--

I heard footsteps coming so I turned her phone off and placed it down.

Y/n's Pov:

I was done showering and went downstairs to grab my wallet.

I saw Jungkook standing in front of the fridge.

"Jungkook? what are you doing?" I raised my eyebrows waiting for an answer.

"I was eating dinner, you know uhh the one that you bought." I remembered I did buy him dinner--

"I almost forgot my phone-" I grabbed it from the table and grabbed my wallet as well.

"I'm just gonna eat here and watch tv" Jungkook said and I nodded in response.

I was sitting at our belcony and checked if I received an answer from Jimin, I got 1 message from him--

Y/n:
is it okay if you and I get coffee tomorrow? so you know.. we can talk everything out. :)

Jimin:

fuck off

I was in shock. I really hurt Jimin didn't I? Maybe I should give him some time to think about it, and wait until he's ready to talk to me.
