His eyes were like swirls of dark chocolate. Of course I could never say that out loud because the embarrassment would be extreme. I would bake him dark chocolate brownies just because of the sheer resemblance those and his eyes have.
"Have you trained yet?" he whispered to me
"Trained for what?" I asked
"Obviously, in case anybody challenges you for your position." Josiah interrupted
"my what?!"
"Baby, if someone in my pack doesn't deem you fit enough to take on the Luna position then you will have to fight. Either to death or just till they surrender." he said calmly
I'm starting to rethink even agreeing to this mate bond at all.
"Well that's just bloody fantastic. I think I'm going to call Pink to come get me." I said jokingly
"No, you're not going anywhere." Xavier said pulling me closer to him.
"I will be going to the hospital when someone decides to beat me up later." I said pushing him away from me.
"I won't let you lose, I promise." he whispered
He really liked to whisper huh.
I struggled to get to the pack house which was like three minutes away from the cottage, what made him think that I could win this fight. Me and my wolf weren't even in touch with each other she hated me and the feeling was mutual.
Ever since my dad abandoned me my wolf has hidden away from me. I don't know why she was so bothered by him, he left us. We don't need him.
We arrived at his pack and I felt a shift in the air, an obvious shift in power. I felt stronger here, that would be gone soon considering I was going to be killed.
Once inside his house, which by the way was huge, he showed me to my room.

My room back in the cottage did not look like this at all. He really put a lot of effort into this didn't he.
"W-wow." I stuttered
"Do you like it? If not we can change it." he said nervously
"I love it honestly." I said touching his arm so he felt better.
I jumped on to the bed relaxing for the first time in a few days. Letting out a sigh I didn't even know I was holding in, I shut my eyes.
"Are you okay?" he whispered
Again with the whispering.
"I'm fine, I'm just adjusting to this whole thing. I'm not even sure if I want to be Luna." I said truthfully
"What? The only way for you not to become Luna is to... reject me." he whispered the last part "You cannot do that to me. To us. You hardly know me." he said, his voice raising.
"What if I don't feel comfortable taking up the job and what if I lose. I'm not staying here while some female or male takes over my job. I'll leave if I want to." I said getting angry as well. He couldn't keep me here, could he?
He stood up abruptly.
"You won't, I will lock the doors if I have to. This is our house, don't make me turn it into a prison." he said angrily
"So what? I can't go out? I can't meet the pack and make friends?" I asked
"As long as you have ideas of rejecting and leaving me then no. You may not leave." he grumbled
I remembered what my mother had said to me before I left.
"You do not own me. I will do as I please."I said standing my ground.
"No."
He left the room leaving me dumbfounded.
That's when I heard the door lock.
What the flip. There's no way he's just locked me in this place.
I banged on the door multiple times but nobody came.
