a week has passed after the incident. after ahyun talked to sujin , the criticism towards jaemin ended like a magic. jaemin questioned it but ahyun refused to say anything. on the other hand , sujin has been quiet , guess she really scared with ahyun's threat. jaemin is free now , he's attending school fine and i'm glad.

it's weekend , i heard jaemin invited his friends to come over. when i said friends , renjun and haechan included now. he invited ahyun as well.

"yieun , they're here." jaemin said as he creaked open my door.

"alright." i said as i stood up before i followed him.

"i'll prepare snacks." i said and entered the kitchen.

"let me help." jeno said as he stepped into the kitchen.

"sure. can you take the soda cans in the refrigerator?" i asked and he nodded.

"i'm glad." he started.

"about what?" i asked as i slowly turned my head to look at him.

"everything , it's peaceful now." he said as he smiled.

"yeah right." i said as i looked down , my lips curved a smile.

"you see , yieun. i have something to say." jeno said.

i turned to him again , facing him.

"what is it, jeno?"

"i don't see a point of saying this but i want to you to hear this..."

there's a silence before he continue , he stared into my eyes. why i'm feeling nervous? what is he about to say?

"thank you for being my friend , yieun. i never regret knowing you, jaemin and ahyun." he said.

i smiled.

"thank you for being my friend too , jeno." i said.

why he's being emotional?

"in between of our friendship.., i once liked you.." he continue.

i looked at him , surprised.

"e-excuse me?"

"but after seeing you and renjun , it made me relieved that it was renjun."

"please congratulate me , yieun. i've moved on." he said again as he smiled.

how do i react to this?

"i like someone else now." he said again and this time , he looked down. because he's shy.

"congratulations jeno. i'm sorry...i-"

"you don't have to be sorry." he said again.

"let's go , others are waiting." he said as he turned to walk out from the kitchen. he halted.

i turned around and saw everyone standing in front of the kitchen entrance.

"oh my." jeno uttered.

i looked at renjun , he's smiling.

"thank you , jeno." he said.

"you don't have to thank me. you made her happy." jeno said as he smiled.

"lee jeno, i thought we share everything? how come i didn't know you liked yieun?" ahyun asked.

"that's not the problem! who is the lucky person that lee jeno likes?" haechan said as he wrapped his hand around jeno's shoulders.
