i sit down on the table after i bought my lunch , waiting for ahyun since she hasn't settle her work yet.

"i can sit here right?" renjun asked as he come to my table.

i nodded as a yes.

"it's mean i'm allowed too right?" haechan asked.

"yeah sure." i said.

suddenly , jaemin and jeno joined without a word.

"are you guys eating here?" i asked.

"yeah." jeno said meanwhile jaemin just eat his food without a word.

what's up with him now?

"have you submitted your history assignment?" jeno said.

"yes , i did." i said.

"i envy you , i haven't finish it yet , but luckily our due date is on tomorrow.

"really? you better make it fast then." i said and he nodded.

"hello guys!" ahyun said as she came.

"here we go." i said and rolled my eyes. she is always loud.

"jung ahyun , can you sit first? you're so loud." jeno said.

ahyun giggled and sit down.

"you don't want to eat?" i asked.

"no , i don't think i will make it on time so i won't eat." she said and i nodded , continue eating.

"ahyun , your birthday is around the corner. are you doing the party too this year?" jeno asked.

"seems so , are you coming?" she asked.

"i come to your party every year , isn't that obvious?"

"right ? renjun , haechan how about you guys? i invited the whole class." ahyun asked.

"i don't know. if i'm free i probably come." renjun said and smiled.

his smile is beautiful , he's undeniably perfect.

"you lee haechan , you better come." ahyun said.

"depends on the situation." he said as he keep eating.

did i mention that haechan and ahyun get along well these days? and that's actually a nice sight to see. they will always discuss about study at the classroom and renjun and i sometimes did the same , but not much since i find that we are still awkward.

"is something going with you guys?" jaemin asked.

it's the first sentence from him i've heard today.

"are you crazy ?and why you ask something nonsense like that?" haechan defended himself.

"if we did , it's none of your business." ahyun said and jaemin shot a glare.

what's up with ahyun today?

"yieun , are you coming? pretty please , you never come to my party." ahyun begged.

"you know me , i don't go to party." i said.

"jaemin you better drag your sister out."

"who said that i'll come?"

okay what's up with him now ? he's a party freak.

"don't come then." ahyun said as she actually offended by jaemin.

the rest of us are looking at each other.

is there something going on?

"and i didn't say that i won't come." jaemin said.

what actually jaemin wants? why he's like this?

ahyun rolled her eyes.

"what's with this ambience?" jeno asked.

"exactly." i said.

"i'll get going first." renjun excused himself first followed by haechan. i nodded , meanwhile ahyun and jaemin still having their staring fight. and this is not funny but more to scary. this is my first time seeing both of them like this.

"yieun you are done right? mind to walk with me?" jeno asked.

i remain silent for a moment and nodded.

"sure."

we both stand up , leaving jaemin and ahyun alone.

"i think they need to talk. poor ahyun." he said.

"same thought." i said.

"i don't know what's up with jaemin today , when he talk , he seems not to care and stressful."

i sighed.

"jaemin.. he's too mysterious. i feel like i don't know anything about him." i said.

"you can learn more about him , yieun."

i give him a smile. after hearing those words from jeno , i can feel that he still the same kindergarten boy lee jeno. he always care about me , jaemin and ahyun.

he walked me to the class even though i resisted.

ahyun and i.

"are you dating haechan?" without knowing , i slipped those words.

"why you want to know?" she asked.

"is it too hard to answer a question?" i asked out of annoyance.

"we aren't dating. satisfied? i don't see why you should care." she said.

"jung ahyun."

"what?"

"if you like me , just look at me. don't you think it is bad when you liking someone but always together with someone else." i said as i stared into her eyes , my tone is cold.

"i'm the one who will decide that and why should i if you keep flirting with other girls and you don't even like me? just because i'm your friend and one of your closest female friend , you shouldn't look down at me. i'm the one who decide i should like you or not. i'm a girl too jaemin. and one more , haechan and i have nothing and he's not someone else , he's my friend. just want to let you know that i have another guy friend other than you and jeno. keep that in your mind." she said and get going.

her words stab into my heart.

yeah , i don't like her but why i acted like that? am i too greedy?

why i'm boiling up whenever i saw her with haechan?

because haechan is no one and ahyun is my closest friend since we were young and i got jealous?

what do you mean by jealous? na jaemin doesn't get jealous.

i just make my way to my class.

then i saw ahyun leaning on against her locker , and..cry?

i decided to approach her.

she didn't notice me.

"what's wrong with you?" i asked as i poked her shoulder.

she seems startled and look away.

she immediately open her locker and took out some of her books. she run off.

i chased for her.

"jung ahyun. what's with you?"

"jaemin stop. leave me alone. don't act like you care when you don't even care." she said.

"what are you talking about ? i asked because i care." i said.

"you're a fool." she said bluntly and go away.

i can't believe that ahyun stabbed my heart for second time today.
