Parte 7: What now?

You sit up from your bed rubbing the back of your head, as you look up to see Melone holding your bedside lamp. Looking at him with surprise he grabs your wrist before quickly climbing out the window.

"M-Melone where are we gonna go???"

He turns to you smirking

"Somewhere (away) from this house"

-Time Skip-

You both arrive at a park near the town hall, still holding your hand you both decide to sit down on of the benches. you lay your head on his shoulder as you both look at the glittering stars.

"you know sooner or later I'm gonna get hurt"

You look up at him with confusion.

"What do you mean?"

He looks down at his shoes, tightening his grip on your hand.

"What I mean is, on one of these missions I might get badly hurt, and even maybe you'd have to live in a melone-less world." He chuckles under his breath, looking back up at the stars.

You give him a sly grin before nudging his arm.

"Why'd you say it like if its gonna happen?" You look back at him.

"Sorry I just was, trailing off in my thoughts". he looks at you with a smile.

you yawn, laying your head on his lap eventually falling asleep...

-Time skip-1 hour-

you wake up from a dream to see you were in a hotel room, you smirk before walking to the bathroom. coming out you see a figure sitting up on the bed, you scream before Melone turns on the bedside lamp, obviously revealing it was him sitting up.

"Don't scare me like that.....jerk."

you could hear him chuckle before heading towards the closet

"It's 4 am what'cha doing up so early?"

You walk back into the bathroom brushing your teeth before coming out again to respond.

"I just had a nightmare" you brush hair behind your ear, leaning against the door frame in the process.

You watch as Melone changes into something more comfortable like a black-T, once he finished he looked up at you grinning

"like what you see"

you walk towards him fixing his collar.

"keep believing that" You wink at him before walking back into the bathroom and locking the door.

You walk out of the shower looking in the mirror, before long you could hear Melone talking to someone on the phone. You press your ear against the door to hear the conversation.

"I'll be there soon Y/N is still in the shower so ill just leave her a note."

You arched your brow in confusion continuing to listen.

"what if she tries to look, what if she gets hurt??"

You unlock the door walking out into the room.

"If I try to look for what Melone."

Melone stands up from the bed, eagerly walking towards you with concern on his face.

"Y/N it's not what you think, please you have to understand-" You slap him leaving a red imprint of your hand on his face.

"Fuck you, you know for a second I thought you loved me but no. Don't ever come near me again." Tears welling up in your eyes, you grab your jacket storming out of the hotel room as faintly hear Melone curse.

You arrive at the park sitting on the bench you both sat on last night. you could see a faint figure in the fog walking towards you (It was Melone). He sits next to you as you both look at the fountain in silence.

"Y/n...you know I never mean to hurt you right?"

you get up from the bench in frustration, before Melone grabs your hand

"Y/N please.." you whip your hand away from him

"Y/N I know I haven't been honest to you...Me and the rest of the team are going on a suicide mission to kidnap the bosses Daughter."

Your eyes widen in shock.

"C-can we go get a drink?"

He looks at you with confusion.

"But we're literally in a serious conversat-" You cut him off.

"I don't care."

You take his hand dragging him to a nearby bar. You both sit down as Melone explains the whole plan to you.

-Time skip-1 hour-

You get up drunkenly patting Melone on the shoulder

"Yooo Dudde I- I need to go pee."

Melone Laughs before you leave to go relief yourself. Once you come back you take a sip of your drink once more before feeling a bit dizzy.

"uhhhh I Think there's someting wrong with my dink Melon"

He stares at you sadly before you pass out.

(I'm sorry Y/N, I love yo-)

You wake up abruptly back in your hotel room, you stand up from the bed looking back and forth trying to see if Melone is in the room with you, but all you could find was a note on the bedside table

"please do not look for me Amore, I'll always love you.."

You breakdown on the bed covering your face with one of the pillows as you cry yourself back to sleep.

:April 1st, 2001: 4 PM:

You've been staying at the hotel waiting until the "plan" was in action, You packed all of your supplies up before hearing a boom far in the city, you shake your head before walking out of the hotel and getting into your rental.

"I'm coming to get you, Melone.." You Drive off heading towards Rome
