Its been 2 months since Rias been living here and everyday my love for my mate grows. We've gotten really closer now and are acting like mates and for the first time, in a long time, my life feels normal and happy. We were currently on the beach which was surprisingly empty. The sun was beaming down at us and the weather was warm now. Ria was in a yellow tshirt and jean shorts which were too short for my liking. We were just standing and looking at the waves and the sound of the water, it felt relaxing. I looked to ria who was looking straight ahed too. Her hair blowing back because of the wind, skin glowing in the sun. She looked beautiful. "What?" She caught me staring. "Your beautiful" i had to raise my voice because if the noise of the waves. I saw her blush a little before she intertwined my hands with her and we started to walk. "I-i need to talk" she started. I nodded for her to go ahed. "What happened with your parents?" This was the last quieston i expected from her. "They died" i replied in a cold tone. "Theres a little more to it then that gabriel, I'm your mate i deserve to know. It stills gives you the chills i know" she was right and she took her time to observe me. "Tell me" she insisted. "You wanna know huh?" I raised my voice and stood in front of her, so close that our foreheads were touching. "Yes, yes i wanna know" she crossed her arms over her chest. "I killed them" i growled. I heard her gasp and felt her hand vanish from mine. "You did what?" She whispered so low that i was barely able to catch it. "I fucking killed them" i spat. I turned around and lit a ciggerate, something i do when im tensed and sat down. I felt my mate sit down beside me. Wow, i thought she was gonna run off. I felt my face being turned and i looked in the big brown eyes of my mate. "There must be a reason" she whispered. I laughed humourlessly, "All my life people have called me monster heartless cruel and i admit i am but it was never my choice to kill them or save them and then theres you who does believe that there must be a reason" i spoke. "Yes i do" she took the smoke out of my mouth and threw it. "I don't know what i did to deserve you, ria" she smiled at my comment. "When i was twelve my father was alpha and my mother luna. My father had a friend named Frank Blackwood, alpha of the strongest pack at that time. He had a thing for my mother. He always did. He used to come over at times my father wasn't at home and rape her she couldn't say anything because frank had threatened that he'll kill me and for the sake of my life she kept quiet. She used to hide his scent by showering and other stuff until one day she got pregnant and not by my father. My father was delighted when he found out it was a girl. He always wanted one and i always wanted a sister. My mother knew that the child was not her mates, but she kept quiet because my mother knew our pack was no match against franks. Years passed and i was sixteen and my sister was four until one night i heard screaming and shouting from my parents room, i looked out my window to see a proper war going on and i ran to my parents room my sister my mother and my father were all tied up with frank in the room. "He pointed a gun at my face and i remained still. "I told you not to say you little bitch and now your family pays" he spat in my mothers face and she cried even more louder. He gave me the gun and told me shoot. I cant described what i was feeling at that moment. He was asking me to kill my parents. "Shoot or i'll kill you too" "just do it son" my fathers head was hung low. "Shoot it you bastard" "i cant" my voice broke. "Do it" he replied "i did all this to protect you" were my mothers last words. Frank pressed his gun harder to my temple and i shot. I even shot my sister" there was a few seconds of silence "Why didn't he kill you?" Ria asked. "Too see me suffer. I got the Alpha position then and i trained my pack to be the strongest pack of the world and i hunted him down and killed him" i felt ria grab my hand i felt better. "Don't ever say you killed them, ever. He made you kill them" "i don't wanna talk about it anymore" i sighed. She nodded and stared at the waves again. I wrapped my arms around her and she put her head on my shoulder. I was staring off in the waves when i felt wetness on my face. I turned to see my mate giggling "you did not" i started she laughed throwing her head back, the sound was beautiful. "You better run" i threatened i could feel a small smile on my face. She screamed and ran with me following. I grabbed her waist and threw her in the water, laughing like a mad man.

Rias pov:
Where the hell is he? I grew more and more frustrated by the passing seconds. Does he want his beautiful house to drown in blood? I laughed at my own thought. I was walking in our room when i heard his footsteps getting louder and finally the door opened to reveal my mate looking handsome as always in a black tshirt which showed off his muscular body and strong arms. His light stubble really looked good. He threw the pack of pads on my face. "Could you be any longer?" I whined. "Im here now" he protested. "Uh get out" i threw a pillow at him but he already ran closing the door making the pillow hit the door. I got my period today, yaaay im not pregnant. I quickly showered did my buisness, threw my dirty clothes in the laundry. I wore dark blue skinny jeans with a white button down. I left my wet hair loose and cleaned our room. I quickly jumped downstairs to see gabe with a smile on his face. "I have a surprise for you" he started. He had changed too, his hair properly made and he had put on new clothes. "What?" I smiled. "Come on" he asked for my hand and i gladly gave it to him. He made me sit on the couch and stood up walking to the door. He opened the door revealing the two faces I've missed so much. I screamed in delight and ran to them. They wrapped their arms around me and engulfed me in a hug. "I missed you guys so much" i said pulling away. "We missed you too baby girl" my dad stated. My mother didn't look a day old since the last time i saw her. Her blonde hair were gracefully curled ending a few inches below her shoulders. She wore a peach colour tight dress with a creme colour heels. Her make up was minimal consisting of mascara and light lipstick. My father was dressed in a black button down shirt and black trousers. Even at forty he still had the muscles. Both of my parents looked amazing. My mother was in awe of the house while my dad kept glancing between me and gabe. "Hello mister and miss jackson its a pleasure having you here" my mates strong voice pulled my parents attention to him. "Yes it is lovely being here" my mother smiled. "Please sit" he pointed to the couch. We all sat down, opposite of each other. Gabe leaned back on the sofa. "So how are you taking your relationship?" My dad started. "Jack" my mother gave a warning look. "Pretty good" gabe replied calmly "Thankyou for inviting us Alpha your house is beautiful" my mother stated and i frowned. "You invited them?" I asked, looking at gabe. My mother beat him to it. "Yes, he called us and said he wanted to give you a surprise. A huge smile plastered on my face and i leaned in to kiss his cheek. "Thankyou so much" i said.
"No problem, i didn't want to deal with you on your period" my smile dropped and i gave him a glare. Yeah i know i haven't had a good past of moods on my period. I stuck my tongue out to him and my parents laughed.

My family was just done with lunch and i was doing the dishes when i felt a hand on my shoulder. "Need help?" My mother asked. I smiled at her "no mom i got it" i smiled at her. My dad and gabe were in the lounge discussing god knows what. "You know he really cares for you" my mom smiled. "I care for him too mom" i smiled back at her. "Im so happy for you baby" she hugged me and i hugged her back. For the next hour we talked about random things and had coffee. Gabriel would keep glancing at me and give me a small smile which i always returned. We talked laughed and i enjoyed every moment of it. Sadly it was time for them to go "do you have to go?" I pouted hugging my dad. "Yes princess i have business to attend to" i groaned and kissed both of them on the cheeks. "Goodbye Alpha please take care of my daughter" my dad said shaking his hand. Gabe nodded "Please call me Gabriel and i will don't worry" i smiled. I don't know why people call him a monster. "Goodbye Gabriel" my mother said and walked out. I watched as their car disappeared. I closed the door. "Sorry about my dad" i bit my lip. He had walked away, to the coffee table "don't be, i understand completely. If i had a daughter i'd do worse" he said laughing softly and taking off his watch i stood watching admiring his back muscles. I walked to him and hugged him from behind, planting a soft kiss to his back. "I really appreciate what you did" i whispered into his back. He turned around and kissed my forehead. "Im glad you did"

I was getting ready for bed. I changed my pad and put on one of gabes shirt. I switched off the light off the bathroom yawing my way to the bed.
"Aren't you going to sleep?" I said to gabe he was on the sofa with his macbook and papers all around him. "No, i have alot of work to do" he sighed pinching the bridge of his nose.
"Okieee" i jumped in bed and dozed off.

When i woke up, i was sweaty it was so damn hot. I sat up and looked out, even at around two a.m the city was shining. I took the shirt of i was wearing and layed back in bed only in my bra and underwear. I knew gabe was watching me but i didn't care at the moment. It was so fucking hot. I dozed off shortly after that.

Gabriels pov:
I tried to move my eyes away from my half naked mate. She was the most beautiful women i had ever laid eyes on. My eyes lingered on her breasts and her flat stomach, her perfect ass and her long legs. I could feel my pants tightening a bit but i controlled it. It was about five that i decided to wrap things up. I took of my shirt and got in bed going off into a dreamless slumber.
