Anne was pregnant again. Meanwhile Henry finally came out of mourning, and was set to marry Anne of Cleaves in March. George Boleyn met the Widowed Catherine Parr and married her.
March 1539
Henry married Anne of Cleaves.
Gustav adopted Princess Anne and made her a princess of Sweden.
Thomas Boleyn died.
August 1539
Anne gave birth to twins, Prince John the spare to Hungary and Princess Alexandra. The birth took a toll on her was no longer able to have more children. Gustav did not get angry with her for that. He comforted her.
September 1539
Henry annulled his marriage to Anne of Cleaves and married her off to Charles Brandon. Henry refused to marry again. He did however betrothed Elizabeth to Fredrick of Denmark and Edward to Elisabeth of France the daughter of Prince Henri and Catherine de Medici.
