LATER that night, Eliana and Harry sat underneath the moonlight together as they gently swung their feet back and forth in the pool water below them, their shoulders brushed against one another as they leaned back on their hands to keep themselves up right. Harry looked over to the girl, smiling lightly to himself at the beauty Eliana possessed even when she wasn't trying. His feelings for her had increased massively and the more he thought about it, the less he wanted to return to London after his studies were completed. "What are you thinking about?" Eliana curiously asks, watching the attractive man stare deeply towards the soft ripples of water in front of his direct eye sight.

"Things. Going back to London, my studies, you." Harry smiles lightly in her direction, placing his large hand on top her thigh as he gave it a light squeeze to reassure her.

"In two weeks, you'll be back to London. I don't know what I'll do then. At least you'll be somewhere else, where there aren't any memories. We wasted so many days, so many weeks not being together." Eliana sighed deeply as she spoke, coming to the realisation at just how much little time that she had left to spend with Harry. She didn't want to admit it to herself, she hated showing weakness, but she was truly beginning to fall for Harry deeply.

"Wasted? I don't know." He responds, retracting his hand away from her leg before he frustratedly ruffled the chocolate curls on top of his head.

"Why didn't you just give me a sign?" She questions him, beginning to play with the hem at the end of her cotton dress.

"I did atleast I tried. That one time when we were playing volleyball and I touched you—just as a way of showing you that I liked you. But the way you reacted made me feel like I really hurt you so I decided just to keep my distance." Harry's explanation of why he was being so blunt and rude towards her made so much sense now in her mind, he was never cruel to her on purpose—he was scared to hurt Eliana again.

Eliana's parents sat in their bedroom as they began to get ready to go to bed, but the sound of Eliana and Harry having conversation outside in the garden snatches their attention instantly. Her mother Annella listens through the slightly opened window, seeing that the movement and words were undeniably intimate. Angelo moves from his bed and sits next to his wife on the sofa, kissing her hand gently as he takes a seat. "Eliana e Harry si sono proprio trovati." [Eliana and Harry have grown quite fond of each other] He spoke, peering back to the garden to watch his daughter.

"Si, hanno una bella amicizia." [Yes, they have a beautiful friendship] She smiles happily, kissing her husband on the cheek. Annella knew that her daughter and Harry were in love, anybody would be blind not to see it. However, she decided not to tell her husband this, she wasn't sure completely at all how we would've reacted. She didn't want to risk Harry being banished from the house and her daughter never seeing him again.

"È un peccato che parta." [It's a shame he's leaving]
