"Babyyyy" 

"Yes, Hobi?"

"I wan' a dog" Namjoon crinkles his nose at the thought of one of those four-legged beasts roaming around his house. He looks at his pregnant fiancé and sighs.

"Hoseok, we discussed this. It's not safe! What if it trips you and you fall? What if it bites our little one?" Hoseok cradles his bump, looking down at it fondly.

"Then we train the pup to sit and to stay and to listen. They are good with kids, and good for them too." He walks over to Namjoon and cups his face. "It will be ok. Besides, I've wanted a dog for years!"

"I still don't know." Hoseok looks at him pleadingly. Namjoon caves, kissing his hand gently. "Fine, we can go to the shelter later." Hobi jumps around excitedly. "Only if I get to name it though!" He chuckles as his partner nods enthusiastically.

Time Skip - At the shelter

The two men walk into the shelter (more like one dragged the pther through the doors) and went up to the front desk. "Hi, are you here to adopt?" The receptionist asks kindly, a warm smile on her face.

"Yes we are, aren't we baby?" Hoseok turns to Namjoon, tugging on his hand excitedely. Namjoon laughs at him, amused by his partner's enthusiasm. He nods, before turning to the receptionist.

"Yeah, we're looking for a dog. Preferably a calmer one." He pointedly places a hand on the others baby bump, and the women nods, understanding perfectly.

"Come with me." She leads them to the back, showing them through to the dog section. They walk dow the corridor, looking and interacting with each dog. Hoseok soon finds a brown and white Shih Tzu, and refuses to leave without him. He keeps cooing to the dog, and smiles widely at Namjoon, who watches with love in his eyes. 

Suddenly, one of the dogs starts crying, snapping Namjoon out of his daze. He turns towards it and his heart instantly melts. The white American Eskimo puppy looks up at him and barks, seemingly in delight. He turns to the man at the end of the hall. "Can I hold him? Oh, and can you get the other dog out too?" The man nods, walking over with the keys. As soon as the door opens, the puppy jumps into Namjoon's arms and licks his face.

"Baby?" Hoseok calls out as he walks over, holding the Shih Tzu. He places his chin on Namjoon's shoulder. "What are you calling him?"

"Rapmon. Like Rap Monster from BTS." Hobi giggles at his lover's dedication to the band. "What about you?"

"I think I'll name him Mickey."
