Hi guys! so I just wanted to drop in and say real quick that I haven't read this series in a little while i'm currently re-reading them now so if my knowledge about the courts or small details aren't 100% i'm sorry! Im trying my best and going off of what I know and remember about the books. This is a fanfic so some things are going to be different and or changed to fit my rendition of this story. I hope you all enjoy!

The arrow flew through the air and found its way into the ring outside of the bullseye. Disappointed, I took another arrow out of its sheath and drew back and aimed, I focused on my breathing and focused on the target ahead, calming my breath and released. The arrow found its place in the center of the target not a hair out of line. lowering the bow to admire the good work I took out another arrow, drew back and aimed again. I heard foot steps approaching, even with  Fae hearing I had trained my ears to have the ability to hear on a level that most Fae couldn't, so in conclusion it was very difficult to sneak up on me.  whipping around, arrow drawn to aim at whoever was sneaking up on me. It was know fact not to disturb her while she trained, a sentry unfortunately had to set that example a few years back. The drawn  bow string was waiting to fly only to see it was her eldest brother, Eris.

"hello, big brother. Have you come to watch me train or would you like to join?" I said  arrow still aimed at his chest giving a coy smirk.

"As much as I would like to see you on your ass little sister, I have better things to do" I lowered the bow

"so why are you bothering me then?"  I lifted up the bow once more and turned to face the target and released the arrow for it to got clean into the middle right next to the other one.

"Because if I didn't come out and get you then you would've been late to dinner and you know how father gets when you are late. It would be a shame to add any more scars to that back of yours." and with that he turned on his heel and began walking. I scowled at the thought of her lashings that she's aqiuared over the years, it wasn't very hard to get a lashing in the Autumn Court especially if you are a woman, you could get one from being late, or speaking without a males permission or even just looking at someone the wrong way. I took every lashing with pride it doesn't mean it didn't hurt it just meant that I would never  give in to the pain he wanted me to feel. sometimes I even laughed through it not to make it  seem like i was stronger than I was but as a distraction from the cruel world they live in.

As for Eris he was the only brother I liked out of the 3 other brothers besides Lucien but they haven't spoken in years. Eris was the only brother that actually cared about her and didnt see her as only good for bearing a child and making alliances with other courts through marriage. In fact he knew it was best to be on her good side if I ever decided to go for the throne. Her brothers deemed her as weak and not a threat for the throne but as far as Eris was concerned I  was his only competition if he wanted to seriously succeed the throne they both knew it and never really spoke about it.

I quickly placed my bow back in the armory and half jogged to catch up with Eris.

" Better slow down sister, you might trip over your big feet." he said with is grin. I smacked him on the back of his head, so arrogant.

"I'll stop tripping over my big feet the day you stop tripping over your big ego." His grip turned into a full fledged laugh.

" My ego?  Im so sorry to tell you Nat but my ego is the size of a pea compared to yours." this earned him another smack on the back of the head, except he caught her wrist before it collided with his head she grabbed his forearm with the same hand and twisted.

"ow, ow, ow ,ow" Eris yelped

"I told you, you need to start training with me again, you're getting weak" I said and  he gave me a sideways look
