It was a clear sunny day, with the birds twittering and the sun shinning brilliantly.

I decided to go out for a walk upon noticing the nice weather.  As I walked, I heard townsfolk exchanging rumors about the "treacherous and evil princess Athanasia". Of course. How could I forget. On this day, one year ago, Princess Athanasia was executed for trying to poison her own sister. No one would ever suspect, that I, Angel Seymore, adopted daughter of Viscount Seymore was actually what was left of that princess. I am no longer Athanasia de Alder Obelia, the Forgotten Princess of Obelia, but the daughter of a humble Viscount. Almost nothing of Athanasia is left. I cast a spell on myself in order to disguise my blonde hair and jewel eyes. I no longer look like her. I changed the tone of my voice. I no longer sound like her. I changed my behavior. I would no longer be an innocent princess begging for love. I would become strong enough to beat Claude and reclaim my proper position as crown princess. Just you wait Jeanette.  I'll show you what it feels like to be abused, forgotten, unloved, and hated just like you did to me. Just you wait.

Sure, you might think.  A skinny little girl's gonna defeat the most powerful man in the world all by herself. Think whatever you like, but I'm not alone. Viscount Seymore, the man who took me in is no ordinary person. Perhaps you have heard of Athanasius, Claude's older brother, who he killed. Just like me, he's in disguise, biding his time until the day he will finally be able to defeat his little brother. From what he told be, he originally was going to use Jeanette to get to the throne, but she, the traitor, turned against him, refusing to betray her "precious father". Unbelievable. After all he did to get her there, that's the kind of repayment he got. I honestly felt bad for Athanasius, since I had received the same treatment from Jeanette. I was the one who taught her palace etiquette when Claude first brought her to live with him so that she would not make a fool out of herself, and despite this, she didn't even try to save me when Claude decided to kill me. I glanced at the royal palace in the far distance. Someday, that will belong to me.
