Here's this week's assignment. You will read three chapters of each person's book in your group. I'm going to give you two weeks to do this. If you haven't completed last week's assignment, please do so. Your partners will let me know who hasn't followed through and I will start giving out strikes to those who don't help out their fellow writers. I don't want to reprimand anyone, but I have to keep this fair.
Read three chapters of each book in your group and comment three times on each chapter. Because we're all looking to improve our writing, you must leave constructive feedback on plot, grammar, spelling, punctuation, character development, etc. This is an example of how I want your comments to look this week. It's a comment from a book club member who is reading my other novel.

Now, your comments can be half this length, but I expect several sentences really digging deep into these novels. All three comments should be fairly long and in depth, and since we have two weeks I don't think it will be too difficult.
