Kei walked along with a few of his friends who still accepted him as one of their group.
Along the way to walk out from the gate,
as usual he saw many students in the same uniforms as him walk together with their friends to go home from school...
...he heard his name being called by a loud voice yet sound feminine.
—A familiar voice...
"Nishima Kei-kun!!"
He didn't glance nor did he curious to know who's that person.
Because he already knew.
"Kei, someone's shouting your name"
Ayato said to him but Kei continued his pace.
"Kei-chan, you are way too cruel to that pretty girl. If I was you, I won't ignore such beauty," said another one who known as Takeshi in a loud voice but not too loud which can attract many students.
Everyone who was still there, glance to that girl.
They were looking at her who was running straight to Kei like the world will end soon.
Kei didn't walk fast. He remain calm but deep inside, he wanted to run.
He left his friends behind.
Alone he walked through the road.

And of course the girl still called his name. And it sound clear and close.
"What is it, idiot?"
Kei asked with cool voice. The girl now can follow his pace and walk beside him. Too close that he could smell her fragrance and that made him stop his pace for a while.
The girl breath in and out multiple times.
Too tired from the long run.
"I called your name multiple times! Why don't you respond to me?"
"Why should I?"
"It's a MUST!"
"It's not important. You are just being attention seeker, am I right? Calling someone's name too loud while running like it's the end of the world, don't you think it's not matured? Too childish. Unless if you had something important to speak up with, then I can consider it. I barely know who you are. We only met once on the rooftops. Surely you just called my name for fun."
"I really have something to talk with you!"
"Then, what is it?"
"Do you remember me? I'm Kawana Miyano. Your childhood friend"
"That's all? Is that the only question you wanted to ask for?"
He continued his pace again.
She followed him again... Not showing a sign that she would stopped.

"Please answer me"
"Listen. I don't remember I be friend with you when I was a kid. You mistook me for someone else."
"No I don't! You really forgot who I am? I was that little girl with glasses. We always spent most of our times together. But later, I went to Australia after two years we spend together and that time we were both 7 years old. Can you remember that moment again?"
Kei sighed. He was too mad that he didn't want to yell at her in front of everyone.
Miyano stared at his eyes, seeking for answers. While walking and pass the garden, Miyano still asking the same question.
"Can you remember? Can you?"
"Don't force me. Go away"
"I won't until I get my answer"
"If that what you wanted, then I told you the truth"
"Sure!"
He heard the excitement in her voice.
"First, I don't know who you are and you just appeared from nowhere. Second, you told a bit of your childhood memories and I don't remember anything from it. You mistook me for someone else. Lastly, most importantly, don't ever get too easy around me."

Miyano's face changed from excitement to sadness. He felt a bit surprised but he hide them. He continued his pace again. Miyano still freeze there.
And the distance between them was 1 meter.
She stepped her foot... unfortunately she felt down.
Kei glanced back and quickly went to her.
"Stupid! Why are you falling down? See there. You are bleeding. Can you stand up?"
Miyano didn't shout in pain nor did she hold the pain. Her face was emotionless. She saw the bleeding on her leg and did stand up to face Kei.
"You're still the same like before"
"Silly girl. Don't talk about that childhood memories now. Treat your bruises first"
Kei took her arm and force her to walk towards the chair. Miyano shocked when his big hand hold her arm and worriedly asking her whether she could walk or not. Miyano just nodded. A slight red on her face.
She sit on the chair while Kei knelt down on the ground to stop the bleeding and put handyplast afterwards.
Kids were playing around in the garden. Not too care about them.
"Thank you, Kei-kun."
"Don't mention it."

Then later, she kept on talking about childhood memories. Kei too tired to listen about them again. With a sigh, he walked away. Leaving her behind.
"W-wait!"
But Kei didn't care. He kept on walking.
She followed him in slow pace. The distance is more than 1 meter.
"You're walking too fast!"
Silent. No words from him to reply her.
"Kei-kun, if you didn't really remember about those memories, can we at least be friends now?"
Friend, huh?
Kei stopped immediately. Same goes to Miyano. Kei walked towards her and stopped right in front of her. Her heartbeats grew louder. And the red on her face could no longer to hide.
With his poker face, he said,
"All I'm saying is if you put all the pressure on yourself, you'll end up falling again"
His eyes show the emotions. Something hurting him deep inside. Miyano realized it. It looks like as if he said those words to himself.
He left her again. That time, Miyano didn't dare to follow him again.
She was curious, what happened to him.
And thought that the reasons why he changed to completely different person.
