(A/N): IN THIS ONE SHOT, GILTHUNDER IS NOT IN A RELATIONSHIP WITH MARGARET. HE IS JUST PROTECTING HER AS A HOLY KNIGHT. NO ROMANCE INVOLVED.

The trio and I patrolled the roads and helped rebuild the city. It was the morning after Hendrickson's attack, where he literally turned into a demon and betrayed us all. It had pained me, he was my father, after all.

But Gil comforted me, and he said he'll always be there. That he'd always come back. He suffered grave injuries during the attack and so did I, but thanks to Princess Elizabeth we were healed. I won't forget to repay that debt.

Gil, Griamore and I went to pick up Howzer. That idiot was always late. Annoying. I saw him being kicked out of the house by his father. I smiled and waved enthusiastically.

'Long time no see!' I yelled. Howzer's father smiled and waved back. Gil laughed at Howzer's grumbling, and I turned to look at him. Now that he was free of Vivian's curse, he was so much happier. Free to be himself. I despised all those years I had to watch him suffer because he didn't want to hurt Margaret.

Whatever happened to Vivian, she deserved it. I wish I had dealt with her myself for causing Gil pain. But Gil warned me not to interfere because I could put the Princess in danger. Vivian tried her magic on me too, but I was half-druid after all.

I possess powerful magic, though I do not use it. I completely turned the tide on her, but couldn't do any damage because she had Margaret and Gil hostage.

'(Y/N)?' Gil asked. I snapped out of my rage fest over Vivian.

'Yeah, Gil?' I replied. I then realized the boys were quite a distance away from me.

'Come on!' Howzer drawled, 'You're the one always whining about me being late, but look who's daydreaming now!'

'Usero, aaho,' I snapped and ran to catch up to them.

As soon as we were a little distance away from Howzer's house, weird things started to happen.

Bricks randomly fell on all our heads except Gil's. It hurt but became better when Gil rubbed my head in worry. I just smiled and brushed it off, like I usually do.

'Man, those bricks are dangerous. We really need to get to work,' I mused.

'Luck you, Gil...' Howzer grumbled, 'the bricks seem to like you. I am still to meet a person who doesn't, in this form.'

'Usero, aaho!' I laughed, 'Gil is nothing like you, so of course everyone loves him!' All of them laughed with me. I had been doing this since I was a child. I was frequently scolded for my foul mouth, but I honestly didn't give a damn. But I knew my place and didn't cross any lines when it came to important matters.

'So, Howzer...' I said, with a sly look on my face, 'how's it going with Diane?' His face immediately turned a dark shade of red.

'None of your business,' he said, looking away. We all had another good laugh at his flustered state.

'And you, Griamore? How's it going with Princess Veronica?' I continued.

Griamore turned a bright shade of red and didn't say anything. Gil and I laughed hard.

'What about you, (Y/N)?' Howzer asked, 'got a man in your life?'

I shrugged. 'Not really. Just you guys and Meliodas.' Howzer elbowed me playfully.

'With your looks, you could get any man you wanted. Why do you prefer staying single? I have never seen you hang around with any guys apart from us,' he mused.
