With Patton having fufilled the wish, he should've left. Instead...he stayed.
With that in mind they had to find him a place to stay, so Patton got a job at an ice cream parlor and a small apartment.
The two went on dates for months, Virgil opening up more and becoming his old self again. Laughing carelessly again.
Then, he asked Patton to be his boyfriend.
The two happily dated for years, five years as Virgil finished high school and college, working a part time job.
Then, Virgil proposed. Patton was overjoyed and at a total lost of words, but of course he eventually stammered out a yes.
The two got married, and had two adopted kids, one named Thomathy and one named Syliva, twins.
But, alas, Virgil was only human, and one day he died.
So did Syliva and Thomathy.
So Patton decided that finally, he completed the wish. One day, when it was snowing, he went to Virgils grave, watching the snow fall. "Thank you for letting me help," he said softly, before dissapearing in a flash of light.
