Who are you? (Akashi x female kuroko)

Coffee?

(Okay so I started this story a while ago and I hate some of the old things I put so here are the things that have changed:  Her and Akashi have been divorced for 4 years and separated for 5. Her kids are 5 years old and they are male twins, one is Kiyoshi he is the twin with cherry red hair and blue eyes, the other is Yori who is the opposite, blue hair like his mother and red eyes like his father. Kise and Tetsuna have been dating for 2 years. Akashi is single.)

The Very Next Morning
(Third Person POV)
Akashi walks to Tetsuna's apartment and knocks on the door nervously awaiting for a response. Tetsuna opens the door slightly and sighs as she steps out and closes the door behind her quietly.
"What do you want Akashi."
"I want to get to know my kids. It's my right as their Father Tetsuna."
She sighs and slightly shakes her head.
"I understand but I can't just invite you into their lives. It would change everything. We need to have a conversation before just inviting you into the family... what do you even expect? A normal family life? You come and see your kids like you weren't apart of their lives for the first 5 years of their lives? How is that fair to them Akashi. Tell me that."
Akashi looks at her and nods in agreement.
"I understand Tetsuna. Let's talk about it then. How about we go for coffee now then? I don't want to miss out on more of their lives. Is the dumb blonde here? He can watch them."
Tetsuna takes a step back.
"Hey! That's rude but yeah Kise is here... I'm not sure how he would feel about this but this is a conversation that will only be about our kids. Do NOT expect anything else. You can see your kids but you can't come in and uproot everything in my life that I have worked so hard to fix after I walked in on... you know. I'll ask him now and if I'm back out in 10 minutes then we will go to coffee. If not, you need to leave. No more showing up or random calls. I'm their mother. I know what's best for now. You need to listen to me."
Akashi nods and waits as Tetsuna goes inside.
(Akashi's POV)
What is wrong with her. She is the one who didn't tell me she was pregnant. I didn't even know I had kids. And why would she bring up... tsk. I know I hurt her but this isn't about us right now. My kids need to know who I am. I need something to keep me going everyday because without Tetsuna I feel like I am nothing. I can't believe I broke her like that. I thought she was pulling away. Our perfect life together went from a fairy tale to feeling like I didn't even know her. She wouldn't even let me comfort her for months or touch her. I thought she was going to divorce me. Why didn't she just tell me she was pregnant. I would've been there. We still would be married. My life would've been perfect. She's selfish for this.
(Third Person POV)
After a rough 10 minutes of Akashi deep in thought he started to get ready to leave only to hear the door open once again.
"I'm ready. Let's go Akashi, but remember this is just about the twins. Nothing else."
"I get it. There is a coffee shop just down the street. Let's go there."
The silence during the walk was deadly. You could hear a pin drop from a mile away. Once they arrived and ordered their coffee they took a small table in the corner of the restaurant.
"Why didn't you tell me you were pregnant Tetsuna."
"This conversation is only about our kids."
"Yes the kids you were pregnant with and didn't tell me about."
"Anyways, Akashi the twins are very smart boys, they know Kise is my boyfriend and they always ask about you. Don't worry I just told them you had to do business in America for a while and you weren't able to contact them. I didn't want them to think you abandoned them because you didn't."
"Tetsuna. Why didn't you tell me."
"Akashi you can come over next week and see the twins but only supervised by Kise and I. If that is all you want to talk about then I will see you in a week. I will call you later and let you know about the timing."
"Don't go... what are the twins like? Do they take any lessons for violin ? Are they doing well in school?"
Tetsuna sighs and holds her coffee tightly.
"They both play violin. I know how important that would be for them to learn even if you never got to meet them... it was important for you to play for your mother and I needed to respect that even if you weren't in their life. They are astounding in school, they actually both recently were accepted into an advanced program. Kyoshi is very shy and timid. He is the one with red hair like you, Yori is very strong willed and you pretty much have to bribe him to get him to do anything. Both very sweet boys though."
Tetsuna smiled and sighs as she looks slightly to the side to avoid eye contact with Akashi.
"You would be so proud. They are such excellent kids."
"I am... thank you... Kyoshi and Yori Akashi... I like that a lot. Such beautiful names. I can't wait to meet them. Thank you for meeting me here but we will have to cut this a bit short as I have a meeting right now, call me around 9. I assume the boys will be in bed by then."
Tetsuna looks over surprised.
"Yeah.. they are. What are you doing stalking me? I'll call you then. Good luck at your meeting and I'm sorry for not telling you about your sons... I just couldn't bring myself to—"
Akashi cuts her off admittedly.
"I hurt you. I ruined our marriage."
He takes her hands and holds them tightly.
"You don't have to be sorry. I am the one to blame. You were right 5 years ago. Even if I thought you were pulling away I should've never—"
Tetsuna interprets him and pulls her hands away.
"First of all, don't interrupt people, it's rude. Secondly just because of what happened between us doesn't mean it was right for me to cut you off from your family. Whatever happened happened. We have kids together, we need to be a team. I want you in their lives Akashi. I should've never taken this from you."
Akashi makes direct eye contact with her and smiles.
"It's okay. We will fix it. But I truly must go now."
He stands up and nods as he leaves. He returns to his office.
"Don't let anyone bother me for the next hour."
He demanded his secretary and she nods quickly in fear.
Akashi goes into his office looking out the window and starts tearing up.
(Akashi's POV)
I'm going to be the best dad ever. Even if I don't have Tetsuna yet... she's right I can't just take her life from her now. I can't break her again. She spent so many years picking herself up and being a single mother of twins. Plus if I give her this space, it will give her time to find a place for me in her heart again.
Akashi touches his face
Am I crying...? Wow when did I turn into such a baby...
(Tetsuna's POV)
My heart feels full again. I can rebuild my life once again. I never told him i was pregnant because it wasn't the first time I was with his kid... I just wanted to wait to make sure I was before getting anyone's hopes up. I suffered in silence. I couldn't bring him down to a dark place with me. But I should've known. I was pulling away from him emotionally. It was only natural for him to pull away too. But I took something from him. I took away his identity as a father. I just couldn't see him. I couldn't imagine having to share my kids with him. Seeing the man who tore my heart out every week. I couldn't do it. I had to be strong for my boys.

(Third person)

Tetsuna sighs as she picks up the phone to call Akashi and much to her surprise he answered on the second ring.
"Haha someone is excited to hear from me..."
"How couldn't I be excited? I'm meeting my sons!"
And at that moment both of their hearts felt full as they talked all night about their kids. After all, they needed to push aside their past to go to their future. Or was it more? Is Tetsuna falling for him once again or is she looking out for her children. Even she didn't know. But she did know that he deserved to know who they are.
"Oh wow it's 4am! Crap I have to get the kids to school at 8..."
"Oh okay yeah I get it. Haha I mean kind of. I live alone and I'm the owner of a company so who will fire me if I'm late."
"Oh. What happened to your girlfriend?"
"Oh wow invested in my love life now Tetsuna? What happened to only talking about the kids?"
"...shut up I just wanted to know because uh.. hm. Oh because if you were dating I wanted to know if she would be apart of our kids lives."
"Oh Tetsuna, you're the only women... who will ever meet my kids and be a material figure for them."
Tetsuna's face turned red from the call from hearing she was the only women, only she expected a different phrase after this.
"I-I have to go bye!"
Tetsuna hangs up the phone as she feels her heart beating quickly with her face bright red.
(Tetsuna's POV)
N-no. I can't. I can't fall for him again. I just finally moved on. I just made it. Damn him.
(Akashi's POV)
Oh, weird. She hung up. Why would she do that? We were just joking around, I wouldn't introduce another women to my children unless I am certain I could love another women like her.
