I woke up a little later than usual. I yawned and went to my bathroom. I noticed that I didn't even change last night. I got ready for the day.

I looked in the mirror before walking to Brooklyn's room

I looked in the mirror before walking to Brooklyn's room. I opened the door quietly. She was laying on Dylan's chest and they were both asleep. I did a pouty face and shut the door. Their so cute and happy together.
"Move." Payton said standing in front of me.
"No their still asleep." I whisper yelled.
"I don't care." He said getting angry.
"Why the hell are you in such a bad mood?" I said crossing my arms.

He didn't say anything but he grabbed my arm really hard and put me to the side. It hurt for a second but the fact that he didn't even care hurt more. What the fuck. I clenched my jaw and stomped to my room. I balled up my fist and paced around my room.

What happened to Payton actually liking me? He's so bipolar. Maybe he never liked me. I thought as my nails dig into my palms. I sat on the end of my bed and heard Dylan and Brooklyn arguing with Payton. Serves him right. My phone started ringing so I picked it up.
"Hello?" I said confused because they didn't have a caller ID.
"Hi Halia." I heard a deep voice say.
"Who the hell is this?" I said getting angry.
"You don't need to know." They said.
"Yes the fuck I do or- I started to say but they cut me off.
"Enjoy Payton while you can." They said laughing. My heart sank. What does that mean?
"Well good luck finding him."I say about to hang up.
"Oh this little phone of yours has your location sweetie." He said chuckling. Shit.

I hung up and threw my phone onto the floor. It's cracked but it was still on. I grabbed one of my karate trophies and started hitting my phone. I guess I was too loud because Payton ran into my room. I smashed it and I didn't stop until Payton grabbed my arm. I jumped up and hugged him. He was surprised but he hugged back. I can't lose him. I know we're not doing good but I'm going to fix that. I thought pulling away and looking at the glass around my floor.
"Remind me why you did that again." Payton said sighing.

I told him everything and he seemed angry. Maybe worried, I don't know Payton's emotions are weird. He left my room and went to talk to Dylan.
"Pack your stuff apparently we're moving." Brooklyn huffed.

I didn't say anything I just packed. I made sure to clean up the glass on my floor too. Some guy came to my room and got my suitcase. I followed him downstairs where everyone was.
"Time to go." Payton said walking out the door.

I saw Dylan and Brooklyn holding hands. Why can't I just have that. I rolled my eyes and walked out. I sat in the front seat with Payton. Brooklyn and Dylan sat in the back. I propped my arm on the car door and stared at the tress rushing past us.

I felt someone pick me up I guess I fell asleep. I assumed it was Payton. He carried my bridal style while I buried my face into his chest. He smiled really good.I didn't fall back to sleep until he layed me on a bed.

I rubbed my eyes and sat up. I was in someone's room and it wast mine. I buried my face into the pillows. I heard footsteps from behind me so I turned. Payton stood there with only a towel wrapped around his waist. He had droplets of water on his chest. His hair was damp and messy but it still looked good.
"You like what you see?" Payton said smirking. Wait he's smiling. Well smirking but still.
"Did you just smile?" I said jumping up
"No." He said going back to no emotion. Dammit.

I rolled my eyes and left his room. I walked down the halls and explored the new house. I stumbled into another room. It was full of weapons. There were guns on the walls. Knives in cabinets. It was like a fucking movie. All of this reminded me of who Payton actually is.

A mafia leader. And here I am living with him. Who knows what's happened here. I don't want to be here. I just wasn't a normal fucking life.....
