I immediately locked eyes with my boy before chaos broke out. Jabez yanked me under a table and I heard fighting. " your getting punished later love." He said squeezing my jaw. Tears collided down my face as he ran away. I was scared to get out from under the table but then I remembered. Alicia.
I jumped up and saw Jabez and Payton fighting. Dylan was fighting other people. Even Brooklyn was fighting which I've never seen. I scanned a round at the destroyed wedding and saw her little body hiding. I ran to her and grabbed her. " are we gonna die?" She said with glossy eyes. " no. their here to save us." I smiled kissing her forehead.
" stay here until I come get you." I said leaving her under the table. I crawled over to a dead body and grabbed their knife instead of their gun. I fought and killed a lot of the people trying to protect me from Payton . I didn't have time to notice Jabez at the table now grabbing Alicia. His people were all dead. Except him.
" you haven't won yet." He snarled holding a knife to Alicias throat. Payton ran behind me and tried to grab me. " stop." I said elbowing him I'm the stomach. Dylan and Brooklyn stood confused. " let her go you dick head." I said watching Alicia cry under him.
" why would I give you what you want?" He smiled. " let's go." Dylan yelled realizing more people were coming. " angel." Payton said grabbing my arm. I snatched his gun from his waistband and aimed it right at Jabez. " you wouldn't." He said cutting Alicia a little.
" look at you. a monster. just like your father." He said. I felt my face heating as the gun trembled in my hand. He's right. But he sure as hell deserves it. " oh I would." I smiled as tears rolled down my cheeks. I closed my eyes and squeezed the trigger. I dropped the gun as Alicia ran into my arms crying.
Everyone stood in a state of shock. To be quite honest I was too. " it's okay baby I'm here." I whispered kissing Alicias head. " let's go." Dylan said grabbing Brooklyn's hand. I carried Alicia as Payton grabbed my hand.
We made our way around the building and back to Payton's car. Dylan and Brooklyn hade their own. Alicia fell asleep in my arms on the way. " i missed you." Payton said squeezing my hand. " i missed you too." I smiled. Finally I'm gonna be okay.
" who's that again?" He said referring to Alicia. " she was taken like me. we helped each other survive really." I said smiling down at her. " well your both safe now." He said kissing me softly.
