"Bottoms up! Bottoms up!" People cheered. With neon lights reflecting the whole room, party songs and different kind of hard drinks around us, I did drank the whole glass. I was so drunked and wasted I didn't care about anything or anyone.

"Woooo! Lakas mo Talli!" A guy put his hand over my shoulder, I don't even know his name. I just grinned at him then he poured another one and made me drink it.

I was about to when my phone rang, i slipped it out of my purse and peeked.

Mag rereply na sana ako when someone pulled me from my seat, "What the hell, Tallisea Clementine?!" I looked at her, "Oh, hi Axley-honey," I can see from her face that she was fuming mad. Oh. But why?

"Uuwi na tayo! Let's go!" Hinila niya ko but nag pumiglas ako,

"Ayoko! I am not going home! Can't you see? I'm enjoying myself here!"

"She's right! She's enjoying our company, right babe?" The guy held my waist, but Axley shrugged it off.

"You don't put your filthy hands on her, Mister." She glared at him. I was too tired to care, I just want to sleep.

"Ah, so where will I put it? Maybe on you?"

Everything happened so fast, suddenly, Lassley came out from nowhere, held his collar, and punched him right on his face. Perseus pulled him off, and hawak niya rin si Whimsy palabas ng bar.

Hila-hila ako ni Axley palabas while she was scolding me, "What made you do this, huh?! For fuck's sake, Talli! May boyfriend ka! Tapos makikita kitang ganoon? Matalino kang tao!" Napabitaw ako sa kanya at mapaklang ngumiti.

"That's enough, Axley." Pigil ni Whimsy sa kanya.

"Yes, Matalino ako but! I'm so bobo when it comes to love! Kapag siya na ang pinaguusapan, nakakabobo! Putangina lang." Napahilamos pa ko sa mukha ko habang tatawa-tawa. Pasuray-suray pa ko buti na lang may sumalo sa akin.

But hindi sa pag-ibig.

"Fuck! Tatamaan sa akin si Carsten! Tangina huwag siyang magpapakita sa akin!" I heard Lass' voice, he lift me up and napayakap na lang ako sa leeg niya. I heard his name again.

"I'm just so tired, Lass." Napahikbi ako. Naririnig ko pa ang pagmumura niya habang naglalakad.

"Oh my gosh! Talli!" Zadie shrieked. I felt her brushing my hair.

"What happened Lass? I didn't expect na ganito natin siya maabutan." She seems so worried. Sana all. Sana siya rin worried sa akin.

"Fucking Carsten happened."

Napamulat ako. "Shhhh, Don't curse him." I managed to say that. Nang ipinasok niya ako sa sasakyan ni Zadie.

"I don't know why Talli's like this but Carsten must have his reason, man. Hindi naman siguro siya gago in nature. We know him. " Zaugustus smiled at me. He pat Lassley's shoulder bago nila sinarado pinto.

I really hope so, Zaugustus. I just wish Ayven has reasons.

Enough to make me feel better and us not to fall apart.

"ARE you sure about this, Talli?" Whimsy asked me for the nth time. Napatigil ako sa pageempake ng damit,

Whether I am sure or not, it doesn't matter. This was my only choice. I had to do this. I need to.

Tumango ako.

"Like a hundred and one percent sure?" Pangungulit niya pa. "Yes, and besides It's not as if I'm leaving the country. Dyan lang ako, baliw. " Nagtawanan kami.

Nilibot ko ang paningin sa kabuuan at napabuntong-hininga ako, I'm not sure if I can ever move on from him, but atleast it'll not be that hard and painful, I'd rather leave than to stay.

Maybe someday, we'll find our way to each other. Kung kami talaga. Kung mahal pa. When we're both better. At kung wala pang iba.

I switch off the lights and closed the door. I walked towards the elevator. Nang nasa ground floor na, I already saw them and pupunta na sana when someone grabbed my hand.

I felt my heart thumped, Parang may nagkagulo sa sistema ko, and I'm like this only to one person.

Napatigil ako and I slowly looked at him. "Ayven..." I whispered. His eyes were bloodshot, gulo-gulo ang buhok, crumpled shirt. Not the Avyen na always neat.
Parang may pumisil sa puso ko, I shouldn't feel this, but I love him. Natural na masasaktan ako when he's hurting.

But we won't end up like this if it weren't him, Kung sana lang.

My world stopped when He pulled me into a tight hug, Sumusubsob siya sa leeg ko and I felt his tears falling. Yakap niya ako sa baywang, silently crying. I just stood there doing nothing.

"I-I'm sorry, baby. I-I know my fault, I just didn't expect na aabot tayo sa ganito. I love you, Isea. Alam kong huli na ako at hindi ko na mababago ang isip mo..." Bulong niya pa. I closed my eyes and I just cherished this moment.

But it is still not the words that I want to hear from him.

I saw them looking at us, lahat ng friends namin nandito. I don't know, maybe to support us or comfort either of us.

"I-I'll go now, A-Ayven," Hindi niya pa rin ako binitawan.

"I-I thought we were stronger than this, Isea. But I was wrong." Then finally, binitawan niya ko, only to leave questions in my head,

Strong? How can we be strong if neither of us fought?

I wiped my tears and agad na akong naglakad palayo sa kanya.

"Someday, baby. Maybe one day."
