I was fixing my things in my locker and getting ready for our next class, It's our first sem in fourth year, and thank God, last year na namin and we'll eventually stop studying, which actually means study and dying.

Sinarado ko na yung locker ko and was about to walk when someone slammed her locker.

"Lunch, babe?" Axley asked me while chewing her gum, Oh, I actually forgot about that. I looked at my wristwatch. Eleven thirty-eight pm na.

I shrugged. "Tara,"

But napatigil ako when I someone behind her, Oh. Of course. We're in the same circle afterall. I just never thought na magpapakita pa rin siya sa akin. Napatigil siya sa pagsasalita but Arlo kept on talking. He just stared at me.

Para kong nanlamig sa kinatatayuan ko, How could he just stand there and looked at me shamelessly as if nothing happened, Weeks have passed at wala talaga siyang paramdam noon. I thought he's the goodie-two-shoes and a responsible man, Never did I thought that he would ditched me.

Mukhang napansin nila na natigilan kami pareho, "Guys? Anong meron?" Axley looked at me and napatingin din kay Avyen.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, wait! Something must've happened! Nung isang buwan lang, Hindi ka mailayo kay Papi Carsten ah! Pero ngayon, ano? titigan to the max na lang?" Arlo teased us. Napaiwas naman ako ng tingin, Wala pa akong balak sabihin sa kanila.

I'm dead. Pati si Avyen.

"Perhaps, A miracle?" Ani Whimsy. She glared at me, Napairap naman ako. Alam kong sa kanya ako walang takas. It will then be revealed. Hindi naman kami nagsesekreto sa isa't isa.

She clinged over my shoulders, ngumisi pa siya. "We'll talk later," She whispered.

We walked outside and ate at Black Scoop Cafe, Hindi kasi kami pare-pareho ng university because of our different degree programs.

Our seat taken is not our usual arrangement, Imbis si Ayven ang katabi ko ay pinaggigitnaan namin si Arlo. Which is so awkward for him since lagi nga niyang katabi sila Zaugustus.

We always eat our lunch together, Lalo na ngayon ay first day pa naman, If not, it's either we're busy or something happened. We've been friends since 1st, may dumagdag lang kaya we're now a bigger circle.

"Lovebirds are here na!" Axley exclaimed.

"Oops! May mga sabit pala!" Arlo grinned. Binatukan naman siya ni Zaugustus na kakarating lang. Kasunod siya nila Zadie at Lassley, at Percy na may mga dalang tray.

"Hi, beauty," Zaugustus gave a peck on Whimsy's forehead, her cheeks flushed. Napaiwas naman ng tingin si Percy. Hmmm.

They ordered the food kasi nahuli sila, That's the rule.

But before that, Lassley pointed at Ayven and me as if we've done something, tinaasan ko siya ng kilay,

"Ah! Jerk!" I screamed when he pulled my hair, Zadie slapped his arm bilang ganti. I glared at him but he stuck his tongue out,

"You're so childish! Bwisit ka!"

They all laughed, "Pre, Kaya hindi ka sinasagot ni Zadie eh, You're so childish! Bwisit ka!" Arlo mimicked.

Kanya-kanya kami sa pagkuha ng pagkain maliban na lang sa may jowa or manliligaw, Gaya na lang ni Zaugustus na inaasikaso si Whimsy.

The next thing I knew, katabi ko na si Ayven. I didn't know how it happened, I peeked at Arlo and sinamaan ko siya ng tingin, But he just wiggled his brows at me.

I sighed, Akmang aabutin ko yung plate na may ulam nang inabot rin iyon ni Ayven, Our fingers touched and I felt it sparkle, napaigtad ako at inilayo ang kamay ko.

Then He looked down at me, Ang tangkad niya kasi, tapos hindi naman ako katangkaran. Napayuko na lang ako at nakagat ang ibabang labi.

"Anong meron? Did we missed something? Why you two are,"Pinagdikit niya pa ang forefinger at middle finger niya, "This close?" Zadie curiously asked.

"That's what Axley said too, gurl. That is why we're wondering." Whimsy replied.

Now we're on a hotseat, Zaugutus patted Avyen's shoulder.

"Glad you made a move."

Napasipol naman sila Arlo.

I don't know if I'm hallucinating or what but I heard him chuckled, Ang iba ay hindi na kami pinansin at patuloy lamang sila sa pagkain at pagtawa.

Napapikit ako ng mariin, I felt like the world just turned upside down dahil bigla akong natigil sa mga ginagawa ko noon para lang mapansin niya ako, at ngayon ay hiyang-hiya pa ako sa kanya.

"Eat." He carefully put some Lasagna on my plate, Natigilan naman sila sa ginagawa at inaabangan kung anong ikikilos namin, o ni Avyen. They just stared at him in awe, and lips parted.

Kahit ako naman ay nagugulat sa ikinikilos niya, Few weeks ago he left me without an explanation, then the next day, he cares for me. Is he some kind of a bipolar?

"Do you want me to spoon-feed you?"

Doon na naginit ang ulo ko, "Shut up." I hissed, padabog kong kinuha ang kubyertos at sinimulang kumain, narinig ko pa ang paghalakhak niya.

"Bye-bye!" Kumaway si Zadie sa amin, kasama niya ulit sila Lassley na nakahawak sa baywang niya at sila Percy at Zaugustus na nakapamulsa.

Now we're heading back to our school kasi in a half an hour, May class na kami, eh magkakahiwalay pa building.

Lumayo ako kay Ayven habang naglalakad, sakto namang pinaggitnaan ako ni Whimsy at Axley,

Bahala siya. Kung ayaw niya makipagusap then so be it. I just don't want any interaction with him, not until ganyan siya.

And isa pa, parang may kung ano akong nararamdaman if magkalapit kami, or pag dumampi ang balat niya sa akin. I don't want that to grow fonder.
